How about a GTP vs. Miley Cyrus's "Party in the USA?" You would have to make it through Summer without hearing the song. It's the perfect song for something like this, because it's out of style but it's stilled played on occasion, like Last Christmas.

I have a friend that can play "party in the USA " on his guitar, i would never last long. I was just whammed again. I turned on my radio and the first words i hear are: " last christmas i gave you my heart "

In the car to go to my grandparents and I used some language my Grandmother wouldn't want to here.
Oh and just to add insult to injury, I heard the Cascada version on first, thought I got away with it but the radio presenters were taking the 🤬 and played Wham after.

I did mention I had never heard it before I saw this thread so it's no surprise. Still, I was wondering if I had indeed heard it but never paid attention to it. But now that I'm paying attention to every christmas song to find out if I'm going to be Whammed and still haven't heard it, I suppose it just doesn't play around here after all.

Funny, I've never even heard this song before, it must be some 'thing' they do in the U.S. and Canada, giving it lots of airplay.
