@Naveek Darkroom That's how I play. If I hear the song any time in 2015, I lose for that year. Everyone else here is just playing 'easy mode'.

I did it for 24 years without knowing it. Broke that with the video in last year's OP so I knew what to listen for. The answer to that is the sound of my brain melting, btw.

Went shopping today, a lot of stores where playing Christmas music. Thankfully none of the ones I visited played Wham! Or maybe they did, I don't know, to be honest I wasn't paying too much attention.

I think it's fine if you didn't specifically notice the song. You have to know it's playing. That's how I assume it works. I haven't heard the song in the wild. If it's played, I haven't noticed.

So far so good, still going on strong.

Had the odd scare in shopping centres with Christmas tunes in the background. The worst was sitting on my bike at a red light in the centre of town after having to take a detour due to another event. As jingle bells was coming to an end I very very tempted to run the red and peddle off. Manned up and let out a huge sigh of relief as some other unknown carol started up next.

All the shopping is now done so that danger is out of the way. Not about to let the guard down though as being struck down by bacongate last year in what I thought was a safe place at work tought me a valuable lesson.

Had a close shave today and yesterday...

Yesterday I had a 'Christmas Cheer' assembly at school, with plenty of cringe worthy Christmassy songs. Thankfully, they had sense and had no George Michael. I ain't letting school Wham! me twice.

Today was courtesy of @Daniel, I thought I'd be a good boy and help him with something, ended up being a George Michael infected video in one of them, thankfully an advertisement played first. Nice try, Danel.

Still safe, haven't been out much, and no one in the house knows the game.

Went out yesterday though, saw a rusty Impala chassis with great sleeper potential, and an idiotic riced Integra, but still no whammings.
