My dad tried, and failed, to Wham! Me today. Sly bastard.

He's tried every year I've played but has only contributed to one Whamming! (2012 I think). Today he sent me an email with a link to the song, like I was going to click that without muting first, then he sent me a voice message with the song playing but I was wise and had my wife listen first to let me know what was in the message.

It's getting tough to survive now.

So. I just now whammed myself voluntarily because I had never heard the song. Yes, really. I managed to do 2 minutes and a half of it, and I plan to never listening to it again, dear God.

Fortunately, here in Mexico there is absolutely no chance something like that will ever be used in commercials/whatever, that might be the reason I've stayed "virgin" all this time. Maaaaaybe some radio stations, but since I never listen to the radio, I think I'll be safe.

But man is it lame. I wholeheartedly support this game now

8 Whams?

Wait until Christmas Eve.

I haven't even heard many Christmas songs yet. My main attention is on the TV, waiting for the 'Now that's what I call christmas' advert. But i'll probably get it soon. If I can just survive2 more weeks of college without us getting into the Christmas spirit :scared:

Damn you George, damn you Andrew, damn you @Daniel and most of all damn you spoilt children.
That's why our presents to each other are usually a trip somewhere, like Universal Studios. :D

Hurry up and get here, December 18th!
Currently I'm trying to convince myself it's for the best and I'm now free of the shackles that is Wham when in reality I'm a gutted man.
It does make listening to Pandora a lot less nerve wracking!

Actually, I don't think it would count.

"Only the original audio counts"

And I never knew whether it was the original or a cover that was in my dream. I only heard the opening bit. I guess I live another day?

Wait. Did you watch the video in the OP?

Stopped at a gas station today to fill up. Noticed as soon as I got out that Christmas music was playing. Some rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". It had just begun, so I figured I'd be safe.

Until the card reader took forever to operate. And the pump shut off early so I had to pump the last gallon or so slowly. And the receipt printed very slowly.

Just as I grabbed my receipt, the song of safety ended and I knew I was in a race against time to get in the car before the next one started. A mad dash towards my car door ensued, but alas, I was too late. The next song had already began. My fate was sealed one way or another, so I stopped to see if I had dodged a bullet or not.

Mariah Carey was singing.

I have never been so relieved to hear Mariah Carey's singing.

The Great Whamhammer has been avoided for yet another day, but I need not let my guard down yet.

What if it's something along the lines of "Inception"?

Wham!ception?
I don't know. I haven't gotten Whammed in real life yet. Only in my dreams. I haven't even learned how to lucid dream. But I don't care. All I care about is not getting Whammed in real life.
