I'm not sure if I'm whammed or not, but I was in the car with my teacher. She was playing Fresh 102.5, and right after "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas", the dreaded song began to play. Luckily, I only heard the first 5 or so seconds (it's the Wham version, BTW), just barely missing the lyrics. I told her to change it immediately, and we changed it to another Christmas station. They were playing the TS version.

Wham! count: 15.

The video in the OP doesn't count though. You can listen to it as many times as you like. Not sure why you want to though, one listen is more than enough.

I didn't even make it one full time. All I could take was 2 and a half minutes. And I didn't even watching the video, but I'd s'pose it would have been even less time if I was.

Doesn't matter, you're whammed even if you hear a second of the song.

@Daniel; add another to the Wham! Express.

If it was only 5 seconds in, how could he tell if he was Whammed? I'm assuming some covers are arranged differently, though I don't know about differences in the instrumental intro.

I have never heard it on a country station and I listen a lot. Not sure where Wham! fits in country lol

Station shows, especially morning shows, have a tendency to play things out-of-character for their station. Case-in-point, local country station was talking about Christmas songs, then lead-dude decided to play the most downloaded Christmas song for DFW....apparently it's Mariah Carey. That was about 8 AM CST, and had I been Whammed I probably would also have been sent home for breaking stuff at work.....

What? My mind clears up after 9, anything before is your own liability.

Racing with someone that might Wham you but didn't earlier today was a terrifying feeling.

That or using a car you haven't touched in 5 months..
Oh god

I totally forgot nascarfan was Whammed, but he had the mics turned on in the lobby. Thankfully, he was preoccupied with racing.

Survived another day.

I got a craft show today and I have a feeling that there'll be nothing but Christmas music playing.

If I somehow make it through, I'm buying all the lottery tickets I can afford.
