I am afraid my budget of $10 doesn't allow that. Maybe after I finish building my computer, but that will take 6 months, no less. For now, we may have to come up with some other ideas...

But at the same time, people listening to it on their iPods or other MP3/MP4 players would be very confused. The only thing I can think of is maybe re-writing it into paragraphs rather than lap time>notes>bullets.

That's true, but only because you can't see a podcast. The majority of our audience will be GTP users at first. They'll know what to expect.

Also, there's absolutely no reason we should be thinking about video right now, this is trying to run before learning to walk.

But if it's in the majority interest of the group, it can be done. I have an HD-PVR.
