Whereas Italy has obviously dominated when it played Australia and Germany?
I'm thinking a French victory (2-0), Zidane is on form and I don't think the Italian team will be as willing to stick to him as the Portuguese were. He'll create opportunities :P
 
Me and my brother played this match on Pro Evolution 4 just now to get a prediction, and apparently it will be 3-3 with France to win 6-5 on penalties. Italy will cheat throughout, however, and even take control of France's controller to score an equaliser. That said, France will slide tackle Buffon to score their second. Should be a good game then. ;)
 
Okay, I'll do it on WE10 now because it's more WC accurate. I'll be France and my girlfriend will be Italy... :D

I'm all ready, I got my Girgio Ferraro button up shirt and my Roma Italia T shirt under it with my fresh sicilian haircut and...my flag, I'm ready, lets go to war baby!
 
I'll tip a 1-1 draw with France winning through penalties. Deep down I feel Italy will win, because they are good players, but also good at cheating. Personally, I would like to see France win.

Man, I'm so sick of the idiots on ESPN saying Toady instead of Totti and "The Ukraine". ESPN needs some pronounciation assistance. I can't believe they have Dave O'brien and Balboa calling the final.
 
Ok, one more thing omnis...watch it in spanish ;), that's what I do. even though I understand English and Italian more than Spanish, it's always more entertaining to listen a spanish commentator.

I know Argentina has a bit of Italian mixed in their Spanish language, but how come you know Italian better than your home country's language?
 
Italian and Spanish are so similar, anyway. He probably knows Italian better because, apparently, he lives in a very italian part of New York.

Diving is part of football, it's up to the ref not to be fooled by the players. Everyone does it, maybe just English players don't, you guys gotta stop complaining about it.
 
No, it makes France the wimpy fallers. Sagnol is such a jerk, though. He went to the floor out of nowhere like 5 seconds after he stepped on the G-man. I'm glad he got a yellow for it.

Does anyone else think that ball is hella-ugly? I think they should've replaced the black with shiny gold instead of filling in the hourglass panels with gold paint.

I admit, I haven't see many WC in my life. But, this WC as been plagued by these fake, pussyfalls that I don't like in the first place. That's probably why I like Zidane more than others. He's not known for taking dives.

While it is part of the game, I feel it's part of the game that's a coward's move; a real cheap shot. I think all players attempting this move to earn a penalty should get a yellow card for it.

also, the ref has the WEIRDEST whistle ever. I think Rooney snuck some jam (would preserves sound more english?) into the air chamber. :lol:

Oh, sweet! Placido Domingo is going to sing for halftime. I wonder how his voice has held up after all these years. I guess we shall see. Hopefully he's not as bad as Pavarotti has become.
