My beer is chilled, my sauerkraut is simmering, I'm wearing lederhosen... Deutschland uber alles!

The ref wants to be the centre of attention in this game, by the looks of it. He's only really let two fouls go so far, both in the last 2 minutes of the half.

And not-the-real-Ronaldo still hasn't learned, is still throwing himself all over the pitch and is still getting booed by everyone.

The japanese ref is the only professional ref in this WC. I wonder what he does for a living once he is 40+.

The ref tomorrow is from Argentina.

Germany showed England what happens when you actually aim the ball in the direction of those white things - Ricardo fumbles it into the goal. Bit of luck on the OG too. Pity as Petit is the only starting Portuguese player who isn't a douche. Germany's 3rd was a belter, and Nuno Gomes, who also isn't a douche, got a nice consolation goal - good cross from Figo, but little effort from Kahn who should have been airborne before Gomes headed it.

Right result.

Italy vs Germany. Suspense until the end. The ref was perfect, he kept his cards in his pocket to control, I must admit, a totally diving Italian team.

It was a good game, but no goals untill the 118th minute and a lack of real goal scoring oppurtunities untill ET made it slightly frustrating.

Fantastic game by Lahm and Schwein-schwein. It would've been so sick if Lahm put in that across-the-field cross by Klose.

The best game so far was Portugal - Holland :D, blood fest!!!
No seriously, the best match I think was Argentina - Mexico. Both teams hustled during the whole match, specially mexico. But a fantastic goal set the difference and it was an a great ending for both teams.

I tied a huge Italian flag to the hood of my car and my buddies are doing the same. We're gonna go to a great pub near times square, it's owned by an friend of us who's also Italian....so we'll get free beers during the game :sly:

So tomorow I'll be absent from this thread, but for the ones who are staying, keep this one posted up!

Ciao!

Tomorrow I'm going to il ristorante Michelangelo, the biggest italian restaurant in Quebec, a huge tv screen is set up.

If we win we have a huge parade to get to the biggest club in the city, the Dagobert, which is owned by an italian.

We are everywhere...beware;)

We are everywhere...beware;)

I know :D...if we win (which I think will be the case), wait till you see Times Square, NY swarmed by Italians.

Gotta tell you...we ARE everywhere :sly:

Ciao!

Yep. You can take the Italian out of Italy, but you can never take the Italy out of the Italian.

I think the French will call hate crimes when they get their baguettes dipped in tomato sauce at italian eateries the world round.

I'll say Italy 2, France 1. I honestly don't have too much preference as to who wins. I would've wanted Italy to win, but I'm happy for Zidane. If it wasn't for Zidane or Henry, I'd be pulling for Italy all the way.

I just want to see a REALLY good game.

FORZA AZZURI!!!
Im not italian but the parties in toronto are the best when they win:)
Hope they beat the french. I want to see some good soccer action:dopey:

If Italy win, the US will be the only team that played them to not lose to them. :D
