Quickie Report:

Started 6th - Disconnected on Lap 26

Planned a 3-stopper. First couple of laps was just a feeler as i had little practice. (Kamy 3rd, Atlas 4th, Masi 5th) Kamy lost control and spun coming off Andretti hairpin. From then on, it was me and Atlas battling it for third place. It was a good scrap, with a few bumps here and there (outbreaked myself and nearly dump Atlas coming into corkscrew). We traded places back and forth and on Lap 10, i decided to come in and see if i could manage better laps by running alone. Ran consistent mid to low 1'26.xxx on my second stint. I think Atlas pitted somewhere lap 15-20 and as he came off the pits, i was a good straightaway ahead.

Around Lap 24, i caught Ravellron and passed him (i think he was doing a 2 stopper?). My tires were pretty worn by then so i decided to pit the next lap. As i was about to finish Lap 26, i get disconnected.

Too bad as Laguna is one of my favorite tracks.

Yeah I just got off the phone with Cox and they've concluded that my internet's just messed up. It's not my modem or router but the actual line to my house. Something's making it shut off and recycle randomly and that's what cause my disconnects, not my bandwidth. I pay $100 a month for my connection so I have plenty of bandwidth.

Someone's coming over tomorrow to see what's up with the line. Can't believe this ****.

If I had made a mistake, I would have apologized and fessed up to it. I did not make any mistakes in the two incidents with Wafflepants.

Absolutely frustrating race, to say the very least. In the end, I got damaged 4 times. I was dive-bombed on lap 3, without the offender giving the position back, then was spun out and damaged in two separate incidents BY A BACKMARKER!

I don't think anyone deserves all of that in a race.

Results were finalized a day or two ago, but we saw a few problems with the penalties so its being reworked. Should come out today.

Got a podium today. Had a chance for second. Not thinking I could of paced Biffy. However been fun to try. Anyway. Messed up first lap. Lost about 5 seconds on field. Then caught back up. Fought through. Lynchy and Biffy had checked out by now. I decided to try 3 stops hoping my average speed would be enough. However didn't work out so well when I spun twice and off the track a few times. One I damaged myself. Close to my second pit so I took it.

All in all a good race. Several GT300's passed and must say all were very respectful of me as I went around many even opened doors for me. Thank you guys.

At the end Biffy caught me. He was about 2 seconds back and I decided it I was not getting lapped! Floored it and ran like a mad man got 6 laps. Was able to stretch out on him. Which was a relief.

Great fun for me today. Lynchy, great job young grasshopper! Impressive driving and seen you show restraint and respect. Hats off. I now am excited to run with you again.

And yeah Nep, I guess I did have you fooled haha. when you went in for a third stop I thought you had damage. Gah. I don't know if I would've killed it and won by a good margin but it looked like it could've come down to a good battle since Supra was on better tires only 7 seconds behind me at the point I disconnected. You two might've caught up to me and we would've had a battle royale for the win.

Gah... sucks. But it's all good now.

Wow, man. I feel sorry. Our battle was so awesome. Then we went apart when I messed my pit stop strategy. Yes, I know people Im getting annoying talkin bout the pit stop.

I should mention about the start, not a complaint, some confusion led Paginas to pass me right before the start finish straight (???) then when it clicked he let me back in front before the start, ended up starting back further than I wanted because I had to much ground to gain back after the pass and didn't want to be accused of "taking a run" at the cars up front.

CLS, it was really odd, because just before the last corner your car just went crazy so i tried to keep a little distance and then it sudenly went crazy again and your car poped out in front of me LOL.

It also happend at the 1st corner was very strange lol

I saw you closing in, you had already shaved off a sec, and there was like what? 15 laps left? and it was a matter of time before you passed me. So, I thought by pitting and having fresh tires, I would catch up but didnt realize that the pit stop was about 25 secs long.

Anywho other than the silliness with Mule, great race.. I literally bought the '08 Garayia just before the race, did some very slight tweaking to it and went. The car either needs to be flogged to death or driven like a grandma, there is no in between (for me at least) Had a few spins at the end of Rahall and one when I took the "death" line through the 'screw. I believe the best I could get out of it was a 1:31' something, but by that time I was so far back that I was just hoping to get unlapped or catching the other Gara.

Did my best to stay out of the way of the 500's, took quite a few outside lines , especially when the leaders were coming on strong. Some more seat time in the gara and I believe I'll be able to run a more consistent pace.

When I got disconnected from the lobby, it wasn't just GT5 that got disconnected, the internet through out the whole house was down. Like I said, someone's coming tomorrow to fix it and if they don't I'm cancelling my service with COX and going with another ISP.

So after that, yes, I'll keep streaming.

Have you checked your modem's log for errors, SNR etc?
