I got disconnected in the lead with 10 laps to go... I can not believe my luck. I really need to think about what I'm doing here. It's just... beyond...

This has happened to me constantly in the past few weeks. I don't think I have the will to keep going. it's just futile.

I don't know man. I thought I was ok being it was my room, but it still freaking happened. The disconnects ruined my Elise championship, almost ruined my Cappuccino win, it just sucks.

All the work I put in for this race... I just can't believe it.

Now, I'm looking at the lap times from every one, I had the fastest lap, 1:20.855. I had it all wrapped up... would've been a hat trick...

I'll come back around later. For now I'm just gonna rest up and get some girlfriend TLC. At least I get to see Senna tonight.

lmao, I went back to GT to get out of the room and it had already disconnected me again. I swear GT's just telling me to leave.

I think i know whats happening Wardez. I think you disconnects are related to using Justin.TV at the same time.


The interesting thing is that your Justin.TV stream gets glitchy and starts freezing at all the times where you where dealing with a gaggle of Gt300 cars. Theres a link between the bandwidth your ps3 uses and the amount of cars on screen. The more cars, the more bandwidth.....

And the Justin.Tv stream suffers because of that. You uploading to justin T.V as well as using the online connection for Ps3 seems like they dont get along. And occasionally it becomes overwhelming and you get disconnected from gt5 online.

Long story short, dont live stream(even though me and many others enjoy watching) and host/race at the same time. Takes up to much bandwidth
 
Our house helper accidentally pulled out the plug of my modem & router. :ouch:
I will not give her a raise this year. No RACE, No RAISE! :banghead:

The BIRD will go back to sleep now...

Actually, there's been trouble with my connection ever since my ISP (Cox Communications) started upgrading the area to FiOS. It used to only happen at night when they'd be working but my modem started randomly resetting itself during the day since a few weeks ago.

I'm gonna call Cox and demand justice, I've called them before about it and they just gave me BS. They'll hear me this time.

I also think that races should be held in lounges instead of public servers...It worked for me atleast...I was enjoying watching that race..
 
Disappointing 5th after running 3rd most of the race. I don't want to run another mixed race ever. There's no escaping the guided missiles from behind. At least I stayed connected, tough luck for Wardez & Masi :(
 
I refuse to race with Wafflepants again. Dirtiest driver I've ever had the pleasure of having behind me. Filling out the form now.
 
@ Wardez - Yeah, i think you should abstain from streaming next time you host.

Also - I think I've improved drastically since my first race at Fuji :) I may get caught up on crashes but speed wise I've improved

All I can say is I officially hate myself. WTF was I thinking with that pit stop strategy? I feel sorry for myself and Wardez as well on the disconnection. I just have to start being smarter on the races. Wardez fooled me on the pit strategy well. Shame I was driving so good, no mistakes and keeping a great pace.
 
Had a generally horrible race myself, in a twist of luck somehow caught Paginas, Chorda, and Remy, finally got past all of them, and up to fourth (right before Wardez DC) and Remy and Chordas cars just went ballistic the second I got in front of Remy, eventually Remy was parked sideways in the corkscrew entrance, and I was instantly condemned to 7th again. :(

I'm in the mindframe of Wardez right now, especially with everlasting damage from lag.

I really really have to learn how to get good pit strategies. I have lost races already because of this, and this one, the one, I was having the most fun just went downhill. Played catch up and closed in to finish only 1 sec behind Supra, but I could have easily won.

I should mention about the start, not a complaint, some confusion led Paginas to pass me right before the start finish straight (???) then when it clicked he let me back in front before the start, ended up starting back further than I wanted because I had to much ground to gain back after the pass and didn't want to be accused of "taking a run" at the cars up front.

Yes it was, I was in shock when I saw Wardez disconnect. But worst of all, was my strategy. The fact that Wardez was closing in after his 2nd stop, just messed my head up. I probably would have been able to hold Wardez but tried to play it safe and didn't work. I just needed a few more laps, and the victory would have been mine. Congrats to Supra for outsmarting everyone else. Also, congrats to Aderrm. Superb driving. Won the GT300 class and finished 3rd OVERALL. Insane!!
 
Owen booted me before I could grab a replay -_-. Anywho great run guys, Mule I don't know what you're problem is but I absolutely DO NOT RACE DIRTY. As I said, watch the replay man, you were all over the damn place, you were intentionally blocking between turns 5 and 6, the first time there was contact you left the racing line into 5 then came right back across and hit me.


If I'm such a dirty driver why is it that you are the only one complaining I had no issues with any of the other 300 cars. Seriously, I was following HOrtus around in the same manner in the last 6-7 laps and we didn't have anything even close to an incident...

Is it normal for people to start complaining WHILE the race is still going on? Mule seemed to need to stop and whine in the pits anytime anyone came near his car!

Insane end of race. Spun on the run to Corckscrew 2nd to last lap and Ron passed me. I knew he was on old tires so managed to pass him but on the last lap there was even more chaos. He was keeping close to me, and as I do the corckscrew I see 2 GT 500 cars controlled by the AI. My brain just stoped and in the next turn I didn't know where to go and end up hiting Nepall's car I think a bit hard, still no damage, did a slalom between his car and phantom and managed to stay in front of Ron. He probably slowed down more than me.

Isn't there a way to read the times as people go through the finish line and we don't race this lap??
