GTP_SuperSic did a: 1:44.726, and a 1:44.629

However, first lap looked clean, but after viewing the replay it's confirmed dirty out of ascari.
The second lap ppeared to be dirty at the same spot.

I'll report back as soon as I've come to a decition, and photos.

It's a close one, let me tell you.. :scared:

Really gutted im missing Monza this week. Waiting to leave for this festival so I decided to have a little mess around in Owen's room. Made a 1.45.8xx on my third lap, which looking on the quali sheet would be pretty nice with a full 16 racing..

Meh. I was too cautious around the chicanes. over half a second off my best lap.
 
Can i put ENFORCER 98 on the reserves he stayed up too long and forgot about qual and crashed 30mins ago in a PS3 chat so could i put him on reserves since hes likely not to awake until after the deadline and he still may not make the race but atleast he has a chance if its not ok to do so tough he'll learn not to be a fool lol (btw hes on a DS3 but was able to do high 53s so hes not slow ;))
 
26 / 40 cars have done quali up to this point.
The only one I know of that will quali later is Shrugging_Atlas

I think it's apretty decent turnout. But we need to improve our communication in here. It's not hard to post: "I can't make this round, see you next week. 👍"

So please, a short post like that will remove a lot of headake for me, Wardez and Masi_23. 👍

As it looks for now, the GT300 field will not fill up the 14 slots. So he can start from the back of the pack. If less than 14 cars quali/show ofc. 👍

I'll put him up in the waitinglist.

Interesting you should post this.... as.. I just found out one of my great friends from childhood is in town tomorrow. So.. It looks like I am going to miss the race tomorrow. I am torn - I am stoked to see my friend and play golf with him and some other buds, but bummed that I am missing this week as my NSX was working out quite nicely on this track.

Sounds like there will be plenty racing this week. Good luck to all of you. Sorry Wes(my teammate) for not making it this week. Catch you guys next week.

EDIT - Is there any point in me qualifying anyways(points, etc.) Or would it just be a waste of everyone's time?

Mm, well you could get point for pole but I guess there should be a rule in place that you should only get that point if you start the race.

Just tell us what your hypothetical pole would be xD

But that's all good, have fun tomorrow it's great weather out there for golf. We'll miss you on track but I'll try to make you proud myself.

I really wish I could get into your head and find out how you manage to go so much faster than most of the other runners in this competition...it's unbelievable sometimes.

Naively I thought maybe on this fast track things would be different but if anything Moleman's advantage is even bigger. Perhaps the ballast will finally slow him down. 2nd-6th is looking very close, all within half a sec, should be fun until the inevitable domino effect into one of the chicanes :D

Agreed about the pole point. No point in making the rule, as someone might legitmately have a bad connection or something else pre-race. Mine would definitely be against the spirit... and silly to talk about, as it is hard to run that fast under the quali pressure. :sly:

I always root for you my friend. Would be an amazing win, considering how fast the NSX is at this track. But I definitely don't put it past you. Good luck tomorrow.

Yeah, weather has been great. I am looking forward to hanging out with friends. Will miss you guys though.

I'm liking the Yellowhat GTR much more than I first expected, given it's low readings, unfortunately it's the first car in a long time where trying to tune her bewildered me. :lol:
But then, my main focus is to not crash, as I can get distracted easily if I lose the pack and run by myself. :scared:
 
Im very sad to know my 2 laps were dirty. But is ok, i still have some chance to race, just for experience. On the next quali i will be much more careful.:)

Yes, every one that hasn't raced with us much yet really has to keep in mind the fact that we run with full heavy ungracious damage present.

You should bye your frien a "white christmas", with regards from Sweden. Vodka and tippex (Tippex is a thick white "glue" that you used to erase misspellings with ink back in the days). :cheers:
