Ok, here comes a wall of text regarding the Monza race.

First of all, I was reviewing the start in detail.
The start was really well done by all. I do however have a say about 2 drivers that was lucky to not get a penalty for breach of false start.
Lynchy098 and toyotsupra was rolling towards the start with the front bumper overlapping the rear bumper of the car in front to the side by quita a bit. But by the time you reached the strat/finishline, you were just clear from the car aheads rear bumper. A close call. Make sure to keep your distance during the moments prior start.

NOTE regarding formation lap: There is no need at all to stay up the driver in fronts arse during formation. It will only increase the risk of unneccesary damage if your unlucky.

Ok, so on to the race then.
I'll list all incidents reported regarding the GT500 race.
NOTE: It's not always the other part in the incident that reported the incident, it could be detected by a steward while watching the replay. We are supposed to send out PM's to each driver involved. But this time, I'll take them in public. Feel free to PM me or Wardez if your part of an incident and have a say.
Reason why I post this in public is part because A LOT of the drivers are involved in at least one incident. But mostly to highlite how bad this race was.
We need to be more careful around eachother. And at a track like this, I just can't see why some drivers almost everytime must squeeze them selves up another drivers inside, just to be overtaken again while getting drafted.. It's a demonstration of poor racecraft.
WSGTC will not go easy, ruleas are supposed to be raced by at all times. I hope this is the last time we see a race like this.

Here we go:
When I type "lap 2", it's the first race lap. I count the formationlap as well. Much easier to just look at the top left of the screen.
I will keep it short. And no penalties will be listed since all drivers have to have a say about an incident he was part of. So I'll just list the incidents, and at what lap and time. I got the details, but wnt share them here.

Lap 2, T1. Time: 5.05 >
GTP_CSL and C-Falcon89 made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 2, 2nd chicane. Time: 5.25 >
Lynchy098 possible aggressive driving

Lap 2, 2nd chicane. Time: 5.30 >
SB-1977, OwensRacing and toyotsupra made contact with damage as outcome. A possible case of pushing a car off without giving spot back added to that.

Lap 2, Going in to Ascari. Time: 6.10 >
luckylefty2gunz and dantedani36 made contact with damage as outcome

Lap 2, Between Ascari and Parabolica. Time: Keep on watching from the previous incident.
luckylefty2gunz and dantedani36 made contact, but no damage was caused. Possibly a case of illegal blocking.

Lap 3, T1. Time: 6.50 >
C-Falcon89 and GTP_w-g-e made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 5, Parabolica. Time: 12.00
SupraPhant0m and luckylefty2gunz possible aggressive driving.

Lap 5-6, Start/Finish straight. Time: Keep on from the previous incident.
luckylefty2gunz, SupraPhant0m, Paginas made contact with damage as outcome. Possible illegal blocking added to that.

Lap 6, 2nd chicane. Time: 12.30 >
Lynchy098 and C-Falcon89, possible aggressive driving.

Lap 6, Going in to Parabolica. Time: 13.00 >
Paginas and C-Falcon89 made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 10, 2nd chicane. Time: 20.00 >
Lynchy098, C-Falcon89 and Paginas. An off track situation without regards of oncomming traffic.

Lap 10, T1. Time: 20.25 >
GTP_CSL and toyotsupra made contact with damage as outcome

Lap 15, Pit entry. Time: 30.00 >
Paginas and SupraPhant0m, possible cut of pit entry line. Totally aginst the rules in the round specific thread.

Lap 21, Parabolica. Time: 41.00 >
SupraPhant0m, dantedani36 and chorda. Possible breach of "corner rights", causing avoidable damage, aggressive driving.

I've been reviewing the replay several times. And time here in Stockholm now is 7.00 AM. You guys do the math.
Please spear me from nights like this in the future.

To all:
If a race like this happens ONCE again, we will start relegate drivers. Period.
Everybody needs to go to themselves and think it thru. If you're given penalties on a regular basis, perhaps you should look at yourself, and if you might have a different view of what is clean/ok driving and what is not.
It's not up to you what is clean and what is not. It's up to WSGTC to decide.
We know that it can be tough comming here with all regulations and strict penalties, and we have understanding for the complications it can bring. It may take you 2-3 rounds to get a grip of what's ok, and what's not.
This is round 5 guys!! It's time to get the hang of it by know, be sure of it!

Haven't been around much since the race guys, I left to go to the MX World Champs pretty much straight after the race and only got home late last night.

As far as the race went, everything bad that could've happened did happen! Race started fine, very clean start from the 300 guys 👍 All going well heading into lap 3 , I was at the back of the lead group of 4/5 heading towards T1. Being at the back I picked up a huge draft and decided to move to the inside as there was a lot of traffic on the outside. Can't remember if I actually passed anyone under braking but it was a clean corner entry, everyone got slowed down and comfortably made the turn in. At this point I entered the first part of the chicane side by side with Josh, we both made the entry to the chicane fine, no problem there, the issue I had was that I couldn't see him for about 3 seconds either in front or in my mirror so we must have been exactly side by side. No problem though, just had to be careful negotiating the second part of the chicane and that's where it went wrong. It felt like I'd waited forever for Josh to come into my view and for me to turn in to the left hand exit but I still couldn't see him, I figured he must have taken a tight line and I was worried about not making the corner so I started to ease my way into the corner. As always happens as soon as I did this Josh appeared in my view and I very lightly turned into his side, I say lightly because that's how it felt and we were barely moving it was enough to damage my left front though :( Don't know if Josh got damage or not, apologies if you did Josh.

After losing the draft I was able to limit my losses with the damage to 2-3 secs per lap to the leaders on average so decided to stay out and then take my one stop a few laps earlier than I originally planned and not lose as much time as making an extra stop.

This was working out ok until the lap I was going to pit when I found out the the braking boards at the entrance to the second lesmo are in fact solid concrete! I ran a bit wide out of the first lesmo and rather than trying to make any sudden movements back towards the track fighting the damage i had and risk losing it I made a more gradual move and ended up being stopped dead by the 100m board........limped the rest of the lap with massive front end and engine damage.

Got it all fixed up and was turning good laps, was sitting 9th after a couple of dc's and closing in on pinoy in 8th, don't know if I would've caught him or not as I wasn't sure what other strategies were being used so I'd pretty much resigned myself to last place out of who was left running, then disaster two struck.

My house mate came in with 3 of my other mates, all drunk. Not knowing that I was racing one of them decided to jump on me as I approached T1, this put me in the wall with more damage :( the final nail in the coffin!

Wasn't really sure where everyone else was in relation to me after all the confusion at my end, I knew pinoy was ahead of me and all of a sudden he was just a few seconds up the road, thought he'd had a problem somewhere so set about chasing him down. Got to him between ascari and the parabolic so went to take him on the inside just as one of my drunk mates decided to look for something whilst stood in front of the tv so just had to jam the brakes on and let Pinoy go.

After kicking everyone out of the house I plodded along, caught pinoy again and passed him, it was at this point I realised that he was a lap ahead of me and I shouldn't have been racing him so I apologise for that also.

From there I just plodded along to the finish, thoroughly annoyed with everything!

Oh well, onwards and upwards, won't be around for this weeks spot race but will be back for round 6 having installed a lock on my living room door :)

lol Skanny you must have some high levels of tolerance id of went mental at them but then atleast no one can stand between me and the tv (my wheel setup blocks that :D) so well done on keeping your nerve 👍

Also so you all know the weekend of Indy Road Course is the weekend the BTCC are at my home track Knockhill (which i am going to ofcourse :sly:) so obviously i wont be here so good luck to you all in the Spot race and Indy 👍

Seems a rather poor attitude.
I always try to avoid contact.
You should drive with the same attitude, your results will be much better, less pitstops and Mir respect from your fellow racers.
I am not having a go, just trying to advise.
 
@ Scanny - LOOOOL omg you had more of an eventful race than me, mine was a tad bit boring after the pitstop as i was just racing by myself lol, glad you took it on the chin and stayed in there, them points might come in handy at the end of the season ;)

@ Masi - Yea im up for some F10, going to cook my girlfriend a romantic meal (too keep her happy, plus shes hurt her leg/being a baby) then il be ready. lets say in about 2 hours

@ Paul - COME ON PLATO!!!!! im a massive fan ;)

I always try to avoid contact as well. Mainly as I want everyone to do well and contact won't make that happen. I try my best to hit anyone. Mainly it's driver errors like late braking

But just brake earlier than you normally do when someone is in front of you. Then accidents like that won't happen.

this is a problem you have ran me over multiple times and if you can't calm down i will help you next week

If I knew how. . . I'd have it done. Maybe someone can start a thread with a write up on how to get them from game to ps3 XMB then on flash drive. And I have no clue from there.
 
If somebody's sending the replay, I'd love a copy if it's not to much extra work.

I should say for reference, it will be far to large to be posted as an attachment in these forums, e-mail or possibly PM should work though.
