We tried that also. You'd be surprised how dumb some people can be when it comes to a seemingly easy step-by-step process :dopey:
 I just like them better, but with neutering, they should be virtually the same, and FGT's come at an easy 2M right now, for those that don't already have them.

Thanks Dante. GT300s, it'd be great if any of you could run the replay till the end and take a snap shot of the fastest laps.

We'll just need that and the GT300 replay. If anyone that's NTSC can send me the replay file and Dennis the PAL replay that'd be great so we can all review it.

That's all we need to get the results up.
I have just watched the whole GT300 replay. Saw some blatant chicane cutting by some. Wardez I will upload the NTSC replay for you and will PM you link.

hope you all had a good race. I was unfortunately too slow to qualify. but, I have learned to tune the cars diff and suspension to make me faster. I have already shaved 2 seconds of my qualifying time. 1.46.4xx is so far my best at monza online. I see tuning is very important. plus using the hood cam allows me to see the apex more clear in relation to the car, because before i was using the gauge view and being way to conservative in the corners. Thank you for making me a better racer (virtual racer that is).

I thought I'd share this with you guys, just to get you in the racing mood 👍
My first test with the Carrera GT3 cup car at Mantorp Park.
Very slippery test as it had rained in the morning. :D

Some excellent race car driving this is what i want to do :)

Quick tip.
Make sure to maximize your possibilities to see what's going on around you.
I use bumper cam because of the big rearview mirror that comes with it. I also scale down my map to "2". It helps me to see where I got my fellow racers in tight spaces. As we all know, vision is limited in sim-racing.

I'm glad to hear you're improving. Great work! 👍

Can someone who's NTSC send me the GT500 replay? I gotta see this for myself!

In a race I would go back to old gauge view only because of the rear view.
I wish the hood view had a rear view. I like the in car but once you zoom out enough to see the rearview I can't really see where I am going. But, so it goes.

Ok, here comes a wall of text regarding the Monza race.

First of all, I was reviewing the start in detail.
The start was really well done by all. I do however have a say about 2 drivers that was lucky to not get a penalty for breach of false start.
Lynchy098 and toyotsupra was rolling towards the start with the front bumper overlapping the rear bumper of the car in front to the side by quita a bit. But by the time you reached the strat/finishline, you were just clear from the car aheads rear bumper. A close call. Make sure to keep your distance during the moments prior start.

NOTE regarding formation lap: There is no need at all to stay up the driver in fronts arse during formation. It will only increase the risk of unneccesary damage if your unlucky.

Ok, so on to the race then.
I'll list all incidents reported regarding the GT500 race.
NOTE: It's not always the other part in the incident that reported the incident, it could be detected by a steward while watching the replay. We are supposed to send out PM's to each driver involved. But this time, I'll take them in public. Feel free to PM me or Wardez if your part of an incident and have a say.
Reason why I post this in public is part because A LOT of the drivers are involved in at least one incident. But mostly to highlite how bad this race was.
We need to be more careful around eachother. And at a track like this, I just can't see why some drivers almost everytime must squeeze them selves up another drivers inside, just to be overtaken again while getting drafted.. It's a demonstration of poor racecraft.
WSGTC will not go easy, ruleas are supposed to be raced by at all times. I hope this is the last time we see a race like this.

Here we go:
When I type "lap 2", it's the first race lap. I count the formationlap as well. Much easier to just look at the top left of the screen.
I will keep it short. And no penalties will be listed since all drivers have to have a say about an incident he was part of. So I'll just list the incidents, and at what lap and time. I got the details, but wnt share them here.

Lap 2, T1. Time: 5.05 >
GTP_CSL and C-Falcon89 made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 2, 2nd chicane. Time: 5.25 >
Lynchy098 possible aggressive driving

Lap 2, 2nd chicane. Time: 5.30 >
SB-1977, OwensRacing and toyotsupra made contact with damage as outcome. A possible case of pushing a car off without giving spot back added to that.

Lap 2, Going in to Ascari. Time: 6.10 >
luckylefty2gunz and dantedani36 made contact with damage as outcome

Lap 2, Between Ascari and Parabolica. Time: Keep on watching from the previous incident.
luckylefty2gunz and dantedani36 made contact, but no damage was caused. Possibly a case of illegal blocking.

Lap 3, T1. Time: 6.50 >
C-Falcon89 and GTP_w-g-e made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 5, Parabolica. Time: 12.00
SupraPhant0m and luckylefty2gunz possible aggressive driving.

Lap 5-6, Start/Finish straight. Time: Keep on from the previous incident.
luckylefty2gunz, SupraPhant0m, Paginas made contact with damage as outcome. Possible illegal blocking added to that.

Lap 6, 2nd chicane. Time: 12.30 >
Lynchy098 and C-Falcon89, possible aggressive driving.

Lap 6, Going in to Parabolica. Time: 13.00 >
Paginas and C-Falcon89 made contact with damage as outcome.

Lap 10, 2nd chicane. Time: 20.00 >
Lynchy098, C-Falcon89 and Paginas. An off track situation without regards of oncomming traffic.

Lap 21, Parabolica. Time: 41.00 >
SupraPhant0m, dantedani36 and chorda. Possible breach of "corner rights", causing avoidable damage, aggressive driving.

I've been reviewing the replay several times. And time here in Stockholm now is 7.00 AM. You guys do the math.
Please spear me from nights like this in the future.
RESPECT eachother on track.

To all:
If a race like this happens ONCE again, we will start relegate drivers. Period.
Everybody needs to go to themselves and think it thru. If you're given penalties on a regular basis, perhaps you should look at yourself, and if you might have a different view of what is clean/ok driving and what is not.
It's not up to you what is clean and what is not. It's up to WSGTC to decide.
We know that it can be tough comming here with all regulations and strict penalties, and we have understanding for the complications it can bring. It may take you 2-3 rounds to get a grip of what's ok, and what's not.
This is round 5 guys!! It's time to get the hang of it by know, be sure of it!

Well said Chorda It was very close at start I openly admit and also could someone post a race replay of the race as I got DC thnks. 👍

Question, did anyone experience lag issues from my car? Things like swerving, sliding, glitching, etc?
My experience was almost solid connection throughout, just wondering if my car appeared stable to other drivers that were around me, as I was (this time only) using wireless DSL, not to worry for future though, already have a 50ft cable on the way to my door. :)

Your car was stable to me. 👍

I noticed some lag with C-Falcon and luckylefty2gunz. Toyotsupra seemed a bit "laggy" as well. But not that much.

I never experiance the same issues that I keep reding about. I don't know if it has to do with me hosting the room. But since the room is non fixed, it should not matter. I do have a NAT 1 connection though. And 100 mbt cable, connected directly to mu PS3 thru an ethernet cable. Works like a charm. 👍

Should be good for a laugh, but also the reason I ask.

To be honest, now I slept on it, I had a very bad race and Monza isn't a very good track because of the huge draft that you get from the straights. I take responsibility for the wge clash.

Wow there was ALOT of incidents, i was involved with 1 but i will "not report a case" plus i saw another on the home straight, was scary stuff and could of be avioded.

The draft is sooo big at monza there isnt really any point fighting for place untill last couple of laps, look at dante and chordas fastest laps, bet they were using each others draft to catch the leaders up

I just got back from eating sushi and checking all the PMs and FB postings. We are never running this track again, never!

We still have to confirm some incidents in GT500 and then there's GT300 which had its own share of craziness. Lots of work to be done.

About the F10 series:
Would anyone be interested in joining a room to test the F10 today,
maybe some races also, just for testing and fun?

This is what I did to the F10:

Weight: 750kg (same as F3 uses)
Power: 335hp (minimum hp, my F10 has not been broken in yet so it will be slightly more)
Aero: Rear 100, Front 85 (rear is minimum, front a bit more so pp is 700)
Transmission: Default settings and max speed on minimum (300km/h)

Obviusly there will be more power once the engine has been broken in, so
go down on front wing until it's 700pp.
The car feels pretty much now like a F3 car.
Lot's of sound but nothing happening

Personally, I thought the GT300 race was really civil. The only incident I know of is the one between me and Masi.

(I still want someone from NTSC who can give me the GT500 replay!)

I agree. I was racing close to other cars most of the race. It's simple really, give each other room brake a little earlier if you are close to another car heading into a corner and respect other drivers.
I enjoyed the race and didn't have any problems with anyone else.
