Had a pretty terrible race in Room B, lol.
Start was alright, I think I got the pace lap pretty reasonably done. After that I had a long fight with Josh for about 15 laps or so I guess. I undercut him once in the pits which was a pretty sweet feeling, but a few laps later and I just did a stupid move, misjudged my braking because I was in his slipstream, was going too fast and wound up going wide on Parabolica I think. Really really stupid. I probably made only two big mistakes, and that one really cost me the chance to fight with him and the guy who got past us both at the very beginning (I forgot his name).
After that, I just went into a total mess, honestly. I was fighting with Alefin which was a bit.. weird hehe. I kept doing consistently slow laps so in the end I decided I would pit early and try and get closer to Josh with track position, which meant I would have to do 21 laps on the tyres, after a couple of laps I thought it wasn't such a good idea. I did get closer and I could see his car, but then I realised I was going to run out of fuel, so 8 laps before the end I had to pit for more fuel and also fresher tyres. Actually the tyres were doing fine, I think they would've lasted the 21 laps alright.
Then I thought, FFS, just drive as hard as you can now, so I was going maybe 1s faster than I was at any other stage which was really nice, and of course I had new tyres and no fuel worries. But in the end, I completely forgot that the race doesn't go to 50 laps for the 300s because the 500s are ~3 laps ahead, so I wouldn't have run out of fuel, so it was a completely unnecessary pit stop >.<
I was happy with my pace in the final stint, but not a good race. Just have to try and be quicker in the future races.
As for everything else, I think I did okay with traffic, this was my first ever race of dealing with traffic behind me, I only had one incident where I was drafting behind Josh then a pink 500 came up behind me, I was on the racing line and I think he misjudged the closing speed because I was expecting him to pull out and go past, but he kept on the same line as me and I tried to leap out of the way at the last second but he went on the grass a tiny bit. Please tell me guys, if I am doing something wrong about being lapped, I tried to stay to the racing line and not be erratic, except for some very obvious times when I thought it was better to give the racing line.
Good race, I hope I can do better though. This was my first enduro.

. Hope you guys enjoyed yourself. I also worked with King and did some analysis on the two rooms and did results based on that. So people in room a who were way off the pace or parked it or lagged out have lost positions to people in room b. 👍
