Guitar Hero III

I love this game I think i am going to have to go buy it, I got 55% for Through the fire and the flames while i was drunk earlier and now I am going to get the game jus for that song. And Raining Blood isn't even the whole version, it should have like the beginning part from postmortem, instead it just starts with the storm. WHAT GIVES???
 
They should have had the full thing since the game version is only 2 and half minutes.

I finally beat raining blood in career mode to get owned by Lou even with the easy mode Lou bug. Taking a break from the game until they release the boss battles for ps3's version.
 
F1D: Well depending on how long the intro is they probably cut it out so people didn't sit there doing nothing for like a minute not playing anything. That gets annoying after awhile. Even waiting for One's short intro can get tiresome to wait for after the 10th time playing it.

Oh and Devil Went Down to Georgia... this is going to take awhile to pass, it's turning out to be more tiresome on the hands then TTFAF.

If you get a Playstation 2 to USB adapter it should. It should work the same way DDR dance pads work with Stepmania.

Yes, I do have an USB adapter I already use to play with the DS2 on the PC.

I just hope the game runs on my computer, its minimum requirements are pretty high, Crysis like.

I guess It might become kinda boring, it might be the fact that I am a big metal head and when I listen to "Raining Blood" I do it with "Postmortem" first then the end minute of that leads in the the "Raining Blood" section which starts off with the raining. That and the fact that I hear the version.

I don't want to get into a big thing and its hard to explain but to me they skipped like half the song. If you could hear the two songs in succession you would get it.
 
Earlier today I went to hand in a resumé at Toys 'R' Us with one of my friends. On the way we stopped off at an Electronics store to look for CD's, it also happened to have Guitar Hero III set-up, so we both gave it a squiz, we weren't bad for first timers, I guess, but then we continued on our quest to get jobs. When we were done we were thinking we should go back, as we needed to prove to ourselves that we could be real rockstars, so we went back to give the game another go, but some other guy was playing. Eventually we ended up playing against him. He explained that he goes there every 2 days to play the game and his girlfriend just doesn't understand. :lol:

So now, I'm quite sure I should get this game. My Driving Force Pro just doesn't seem to compare to a guitar right now. After just playing for such a short amount of time, I found it was really addicting.

Guitar broke, can't down strum. Make some songs impossible. Sux. Les paul=suckage as my SG is 2 years old and still works good despite short in cord that's fixed with tape(ghetto rigged).

Sorry for poor English but I'm heated right now as i can't enjoy my favorite $100 game. Guess I'll have to play Call of Duty 4 until Activison sends me a new one.
 
So, how do you actually play this game online? I've spent the last hour trying to connect to an online game but I keep getting "failed to connect to game" messages. I'm signed into Xbox Live ok, I can download stuff from the Martketplace, so there's nothing wrong with my connection, but it just refuses to connect to an online match?

edit: I've just signed up for the 48 hour Xbox Gold than came free with the game, before that I was just a regular Xbox Silver member, so it's not because I don't have the rights to play online.

Is there something I'm missing?

I just tried a co-op on One with someone else on Hard level. I was doing Bass and they screwed up. Granted, Bass was pretty repetetive on the section we were doing and they had to do a wicked looking solo.

Anyhoo, this looks like fun, I might buy a few months of Gold service just to have fun joining random games online.

I hope they make a Lamb of God pack. I've been dieing to play another Lamb of God song since Laid to Rest.
 
I needz more Led Zeppelin (Doubt it), Queen, and Pink Floyd (Doubt it).

But if they do have other available songs, I wish somehow they could sell them on disc for ps2 owners...
 
Yes, I know. That's why I want them to have more in GH. Also, that's why they're my favorite band. ;)
 
I wish they would animate the actual artists for Master Tracks. I don't like playing Stricken with a singer that has hair. Or playing One with a girl in purple clothes and pig tails!

Same here, they could have made every song in GH a Lamb of God song and the it would be a sweet game still. Hopefully they release them in a download or something.
 
The songs on this game are better then the ones on gh2...more of the songs on gh3 ive actually heard.
