The Scirocco is something like 20-30 km/h faster. I'm really not sure it fits here.

I don't know whether GT5 has a propane-powered Scirocco (look it up, they do exist) or super-aerodynamics... But it's stupid fast.

No, no Scirocco. VW fans, I would like to remind you that there's the SEAT which is made by VW Group España. Otherwise, given no specific requests, I feel no need to spec an FF VW since it seems like no one wants one.

I'm not trying to put VW out of ITCC, because there have been VWs in every other season, but there is no VW that runs with rear aero and is FF except the Golf IV, which is not exactly a crowd favourite...

Hey, I've been looking at this thread and kind of got interested, already known competition, cool tracks... As far as I understand there's still room for more competitors, yes? And which race would be next?

Too bad I won't be this Friday :(

I'm leaving tomorrow morning so today's my last race day before Hiatus.

GTracer98: Our next race is the last of the pre-season. We're running at Monza in changeable conditions. Then the week after we have the first points scoring race of the season at Cape Ring South.

Siggers: You're spot on. :)

There's room for you, GTRacer98! :)

We've got the full NRS gang! :D and ITCC will last the full season!

...And then there's sparky on hiatus... :(

Alright.

I'm going to run through the Monza replay I've got, and point out if anyone was cutting the track in those races. From what I see, no one was.

But, that's going to be after supper.

From Saturday night? I was when I was ages behind, just cruising about.

I said pages back; Ford Focus ST

I'll update the OP.

What track are we doing?

Monza with [almost] full weather change. I might limit the race to 60% water on circuit, at least to start with, so that we don't end up returning to that 100% water Turn 1 chaos.

Yeah, I think everyone was fine through the Variante Della Roggia chicane, but not really through Variante Ascari. I'm also guilty of it, a bit.

So, I'll clarify further: two wheels on the curbs in Variante Della Roggia, two wheels on track. Then, two wheels on the red curbs (not green) through the Variante Ascari chicane except to avoid contact!

So, don't drive on the green part of the chicane, unless you're trying to avoid hitting someone.

It will be checked, and photographic proof will be provided for any and all corner-cutting penalties, given also the corner number and lap number.

Lastly: if you want to change tires during a race, make sure that it's worth it! Pit stops are 30 seconds at Monza, that means you have to make up 30 seconds on the drivers who don't switch tires. If you're on hards and it starts raining, your switch to intermediates should hopefully leave you with enough wet-track time to make up all 30 seconds.

I'm gone tomorrow in the early morning. So goodbye guys, I might be back for the first points race.

@OLLY: Kick all their bumpers (See, I'm getting less foulmouthed :P) in my absence ;)

@Pokemon Team X: Good luck :sly:

@Andrew: We're still missing Morten :(

I'll stick around here for the night anyway.

 sparky, you copycat! :D

And, it'll suck not having you to race against, but go enjoy yourself! :)

Resh, okay, but I'll get the photo of your car for the OP on Friday.

Only three days 'til race day! :)

Also, did whiskymaser leave the series?

No. Apparently he's building a Nissan in a bid for world domination or something.

Edit: I have plenty of spare time tonight, but there's quite a variety of clouds overhead. I have no plans of going outside for an exceedingly long period of time, as would normally be the case; expect a huge OP update.

What I'm doing:

"Next Race - Monza guidelines, rules, and race distances"

"Dressing it up all fancy-like - car photos / logos / driver bios / driver photos"

"Points - full points table system"

"Weekend Results - A full review of the results of the races of the previous weekend, including videos"
