Anyone make out anything important from this:

I saw this part in HD, but since I couldn't pause it, I didn't pick anything out. Then watching it on my TiVo, where I can pause and go frame by frame, the resolution sucks. :grumpy:

So, I was distracted by Mohinder talking.

Well, maybe in India mosaic is with a Z. Wait, would an Indian actually take personal notes in English, his second language?

I ask because my brother had a Malaysian friend in college that after being in the US for three years freaked out when he realized he began "thinking in English."

Oh wait, Indians probably don't stand around on Indian campuses or their personal residences speaking English all the time either.

Anyway (I make an artform out of digression), it looks liek he is just going through making a list of the genetic aberations that he can find in his father's data, so he knows what he is looking for.

That reminds me, when Mohinder shows Nathan his file with his DNA images, showing his aberration, my first thought was invasion of privacy, how did he get his medical information, etc. But no, the politician didn't think of the legal implications of that at all, nor the effect information like that could have on his campaign. Nor did he care about any of his own issues. I would want answers galore. I guess he really does care about Peter. Still, I think I would have thrown out a comment about wanting all our personal files destroyed, or us having a long talk about them.

Was it just me or did last night's episode move the story nowhere? Aside from Niki/Jessica getting out none of it seemed to do anything. George Takei's cameo guest spot was merely a ploy to slow the storyline so that it would play out all season. All we learned was that Nathan was Claire's father, which I saw coming when the Haitian said that all he knew was that he was in New York somewhere.

Now, that tidbit will make a lot of stuff happen when Nathan shows up and realizes who she is, then goes to see her, and has to confront Mr. Bennet. There will be a throwdown then, but it will eventually lead to Mr. Bennet helping Peter control his powers. Then they will use Peter to get close to Sylar and be able to match abilities head to head.

Speaking of Sylar, when did he become a tick tock man and make mechanical noises (that sound suspiciously like a quiet version of the Lost monster) whenever he walked?

Best line of the night:

Ando: "Your father looks angry"
Hiro: "He always looks like that"
Ando: "Yeah, but your sister looks hot."

Monday's episode was kind of lame. I missed the very last part where Claire's mom was calling her father because my DVR stopped taping right there. Anyway I 've been thinking about the exploding man thing and I think the exploding man isn't Peter bu tit's Sylar. Think about it he been absorbing peoples power for awhile and eventually he will reach a point where his body can't hold anymore power. After seeing how Peter has problems with the few abilities he has absorbed I think Sylar may eventually run into the same problem what do you guys think about that?

Except it looks like Peter in every painting, but still images of the future can always be very misleading.

Would you like me to tell you who Claire's father is, or did you gather it from my earlier post?

I got from your earlier post. I thought b4 I read your post that Eric Robert's character would be her father.I realize that it looks like Peter in the paintings and what not I 'm just thinking that they might throw us a curveball.

Well, the previews did show a guy with a watch, but nothing else and that is how Sylar has been identified so far. So, that was what I was thinking, but I should have known better.

As for the paintings, I don't trust them.
1) Hiro was facing a dragon/dinosaur thing. Uh-huh. (Yes, I know its symbolic)
2) The shadow chasing Claire ended up being Peter's shadow.
3) One painting shows a man surrounded by fire/light, another showed a taxi with fire/light coming out of the windows. Which is it?

I saw a preview for the upcoming episodes and they are advertising one of the heroes will die. My guess Isaac. Anyway I'm getting tired how they are hyping the show but it's not living to the hype.

They even know they are over-hyping as last week's ads said that the next few episodes will out do the hype.

I just watched Monday's episode last night. My question is how did Sylar beat Mohinder to that guy? Did check Mohinder's anwering machine? Can he just feel other special folks like himself? Personally I like Sylar better when we didn't see him. I think his storyline is starting to get stale. Anyway th rest of the episode was okay. I didn't quite understand how Niki got out though.

He worked with Mohinder's father before killing him. He had his own map in the apartment that Matt found with the FBI. He already knows where others are and has been tracking them down.

It definitely isnt suspensful anymore.

Ever see Superman 3? (Ever notice everything has another comic reference?) I think she might be close to a full split and Jessica will be stopped by Niki.

Best episode yet last night. Peter is finally controlling his ability and using the powers he absorbed.

And then when I thought that the George Takei cameo just couldn't be topped they throw in Stan "THE MAN" Lee.

Also, anyone notice that since George Takei has been on the show Ando and Hiro have been doing the Vulcan hand sign thing? It's as if the writers met a Star Trek actor and now they have Trek Geeked out completely.

I agree it was pretty good. I finally noticed the ticking noises whenever Sylar is around. It seemed like he was having problems adjusting to his new powers.

The episode last night was the best so far, but I think I'll need to rewatch it. They packed a ton of info into 63 minutes. Among the many questions I ahve is this - Do you think Hiro is adopted? One of the many comments I have is we were led to believe that their powers came about due to an eclipse, but apparently this has been going on for a minimum of 15 years and no doubt much longer than that.

I'll leave off there for now.

They never really said so. He just said that he was his son. That means nothing though. It could explain why his sister is more like his dad. I just wonder why his dad is unaware of Hiro's abilities, or at least hasn't had him tagged now that he is out on the loose.

And I said before it would make the logo pointless. Now I will definitively say it. The eclipse in the logo is pointless. At least it explains how the invisible man knows so much.

I'll leave off there for now.
I won't.

We still don't know who Mr. Bennet works for and we were promised that. Is it Yomogato (Hiro's Dad's company - I know I probably misspelled it) or is it another secret organization. Is it a government agency? What is their motive? Are they trying to protect people or are they studying the heroes, or are they doing experiments in the style of Nazi Germany? No hero who works for them has kept working for them.

My big question, what's the deal with Simone in the preview walking and talking? Either it is a mislead from a dream or we were lied to previously about someone dying.

By the way, did anyone else have an X-Men 3 deja vu moment when Claire went in to stop the guy from going nuclear? I mean, I knwo it is obvious that Marvel is a sponsor and Stan Lee is giving them all kinds of love by this point but do we have to steal entire scenes?

Great episode, again, and I'm not going to over think this episode. Yes, I think Simone is dead and it was probably a clip of a dream somebody had.

I wonder how the heroes will come together to defeat global warming.

Another great episode, but not as thrilling as the last two. They aired the Spiderman 3 clip and more can be seen at nbc.com. Did you notice the Heavenly Sword clip? Silly.

It seems that Heroes is whoring themselves out to advertisers. Look Stan Lee! I saw new ads for Ghost Rider, FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer, and now Spiderman 3 during this show. Now we have video game footage stuck in-show?

Here's a funny thing about them playing a PS3 with Heavenly Sword. It is still three weeks to the election, making it October. I guess Jessica busted into the SCEA headquarters and took an incomplete, not yet out now game while snagging the PS3?

I'm just looking at this and this is a Marvel/Sony deal being all buddied up to NBC/Universal, which is owned by GE, who has a partnership with Microsoft, which makes the XBox. I see straneg bedfellows all round here.

Let me draw it out, for my own sake.

Sony - Universal, both competitors in movies.
GE/RCA - Sony, both competitors in appliances/home electronics
MSNBC(Microsoft partnership) - Sony, both competitors in video gaming.

Anyway, back to the show.

I think I figured out how Peter gets his scar. Oh, and another X-Men movie scene ripoff. The bullet stopped inches away thing, that was X-Men. And it looks like Claire has found her family.

Back to Peter, if Sylar were to take Peter's powers would he then be able to stop killing everyone? He just has to get near them. But my prediction for Peter's escape is that when he is in duress he seems to just start throwing his powers about like a mad man. I think we see quite the battle brewing here. But wait, Peter can disappear and then throw Sylar about. Peter is more powerful, and he didn't kill anyone. This should be fun.

So, is anyone else a bit ticked about having to wait six weeks for a new episode?

I am. Just when it was starting to get good they cut it. I didn't know that was Heavenly Sword and I was trying to figure out it was.

I was a little dissapointed with last night's episode.I was expecting more form Peter's second encounter with Sylar. It seems like this episode was mainly setting us up for the finale. It seems like the clock are ticking louder when Sylar is on screen. Guess he's going to die soon. Oh well.

I think that the Sylar and the atomic explosion thing all happen at once. We saw that when Sylar first takes on a new power he can't control it. The only time we saw Peter not be able to control his powers activity was in a dream. His problem has always been learning how to activate it, not turn it off.

Last night Ted, Matt, and Bennet were talking about going to New York, which is where Sylar is.

My prediction is that the atomic explosion has nothing to do with Peter. Sylar kills Ted and doesn't get it under control in time. That is what I have thought from the beginning and I still have no reason to doubt it.

As for Peter vs Sylar, just because you are invisible doesn't mean you can turn your back. As soon as Sylar raised the glass I was thinking that Peter should lay down. The glass was a cheap ploy, considering that Sylar has Daredevil like hearing now. He should have been able to track Peter by sound.

The fight had the ability to be so much cooler, but instead we spent much more time with Peter "dead" than alive. Of course, from the beginning I was thinking, "PULL OUT THE GLASS!!!!"

So, am I the only one that has noticed that The Company hires a lot of really hot chick mutants?

Yeah, this show getting more ridiculous with every episode, but it's still good.

Noticed all those things you mentioned, but overlook them to just enjoy the show. All shows except Cops are fake. Even some "reality" shows are staged. Meh.

Yeah, the big "Sylar and Peter" battle was so lame and stupid. Peter could have pulled out the glass himself. Why didn't the Dr. kill Sylar when he knocked him out? Instead, he picks up Peter and drives away, then goes back to see Sylar is gone and not once said anything about it. Lame.

I agree with you that it will be Sylar and not Peter. It's the old bait and switch. Anywho your not the only who noticed that.👍
