Hi all,
I'm Gigiumba, driving from Milan, northern Italy. I'm 33, unmarried and I work as a CTI consultant.
At the moment I played 74% of GT4, I miss only one Le Mans 24h, the Formula GT Championship and several manufacturer races to complete the game.
Next step will be complete the gold medal collection in driving licenses. I still miss 3, the toughest.
I entered WRS in division 2 and I'll do my best to take division 1!
Good luck, folks.

Gigiumba

Welcome Gigiumba! I need those same three golds. I remember the silver at Chamonix was quite a pain in the . I haven't tried it in a couple of months, so I'm expecting to have to almost re-learn the track.

I am thinking of joining the WRS, so hopefully will be posting times soon. 👍

New here, but I have been playing the game for about a year and a half. 100% completion and 80 golds, 50K a-spec and counting. Looking forward to the WRS, although I am not that great. Just something to keep the game new and exciting!

Welcome 006r!! A few things:

1) Don't post two messages in a row, use the edit function to amend the first message. That is VERY important!!!

2) Be prepared to prove your statements. This league has one thing: credibility. What you say must match what you do.

3) ENJOY!!! This is what you think it is, you are measuring yourself against the best of the best. Do YOUR best, and be proud of it. I still have friends trying to catch the slowest times posted, while others seek nothing but the top. They're both right.

Nothing matters more than seat time. It also helps to make friends along the way. There is a lot of knowledge here, but they will only give it if they see you trying. So, all things considered, my answer is:

RACE ON!!!

hey 006r, an Iowan to the south of you here. jump right in man. i started about 3-4 weeks ago and i already have the gf after me! this is way more addicting than trying to reach 100% or even the highly coveted max points classification! i just reached 50% the other day myself. i just was so crapped out about about a year or so ago on having no competition but the computer or myself that i just set the game down. i hit gt1, gt2, and gt3 so hard that no online in gt4 just utterly let me down.

to follow up on chukabilly, well never mind he summed it up right. back it up and you'll be picking up racing friends and advancing skills in no time!

Sorry for the double post, I didnt know mods had to approve so I thought my message didnt go through...my bad.

My real name is Nemeth Laszlo, I was born May 10 1976.I live in one of the most beautiful town in Europe: Budapest, the capitol of Hungary. I’m 31 years old, just a step ahead of marriage and family life, so I’m a little bit stressed, because in my mind, I’m still a child.
I bought the PS2 about 4 years ago, thanks to the makers of the „real driving simulator”.I ran in a Hungarian GT4 forum, we made time trials against each other, but I wanted something else, so here I am on GTP since 2005. I usually run in long race series, like the LMS series, the JGTC and SuperGT, the Clio Cup, WES.
How did I become GTXDriver?
In the real life, I had some Mazda 323 4WD Turbos, a.k.a. GTX and I was the driver. So simple…I loved this car very much. It had 194 HP with higher turbo pressure, K&N air filter, 2 inch muffler and a central differential lock in the all-wheel drive system for much more fun, especially in the snow.
I was my second GTX, the first was totally wrecked down in a serious accident. I’ve crashed with a bus, because the other driver was careless and didn’t stop at the sign. I almost died 16 August 2002 because of somebody else…But I live, I’m healthy and it’s over, seems like a bad dream.
In my casual time I like reading, modelling (now building a Tamiya 1/24 Nissan R89C), watching movies and, of course, playing simulators like GT4 and Richard Burns Rally.
A few days ago sjaak asked me about joining the WRS so here I am.
I am a little bit curious about my result in the Qualifier.

See you on the track: Laz

Hi Laszlo i know your a up class fast driver and i bet you will be Div 1 for sure, so i welcome you to the WRS.

👍 Mike.

Great Introduction post to the WRS mate 👍 I already know you from the Simulate TT's thread and have seen replays and know your capabilities at GT4 ;) but as always the extra info is certainly welcome :)
Take it easy mate and have fun in the WRS ... I look forward to a few well fought battles in the coming weeks
Cheers
Ron.

Hey guys just wanted to say hello. I was directed here by my on line racing buddies yesterday, RMK700 and Imfaster2. After looking around I wonder how I missed this.

I live in Clovis Cal. and have been married for 28 years...I'll let you figure out how old I am :).

I only began racing GT4 6 months ago but I am completely addicted. I'm at 97% with absolutely no plans to do mission 34 or several of the dirt/ice races. We've been spending a lot of time with TOCA3 on line so GT4 has been in the closet for the last month.

Anywho, look forward to participating.

Take care, Bob.

Welcome to the WRS Bob 👍 She's an old girl now with lots of miles on her but every few weeks or so she will give you a nice pleasant ride that no man can resist .. she must be good! .. as we keep coming back for more :sly:

Take it easy

Hi. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm still in high school, but love to race. Been Playing the GT series since it first came out on the PS. I'm sure many of u remember those days, haha. I'm from Whittier, CA(in between OC and LA).

Also, do I need to be able to upload vids to be in the WRS??
If not, I hope to meet many of u guys on the race track.
If so, well I'll find some way.:sly:

Hey amemyarz, I'm new to this series but i know that there is a quilafier that we run to place our divisions and yes we use a .max file system to verify replays as needed
I'm sure if you chose to persue this you will be contacted by the correct people who can get you into the WRS

Thank you,Kyle!
You disappeared from the JGTC series...You don't have the time for it?
Yeah... I wish I did, but I don't. I usually don't even have time to give the WRS a solid go either. :ouch: I'll see you in division 1 though! I'm about to start racing now for this week's race. Don't expect too much competition though, considering you qualified fourth?! 👍 👍 Haha, I'm so far back in the qualifying it's not funny. I've beat my qualifying time that's posted, but I just don't have any fun with that combo, or at least not enough to give it another, serious go.

Hey everybody!!! I have been playing this game on and off for years and just finally found this web site. you people are stupid fast with your times. last night was the first time playing any video games in about 10 months. I thought I would just walk right in and my times would be hanging right with everybody else's. man was I mistaken. second night playing the game I had a split of 27.XX and 1.11.XX for week 138 race. I thought I would run with you guys in the back ground for a couple weeks before I did the qualifier race.

anyway, good work with everyone's times and keep the shinny side up.

Hi WRacers, my name is.........well my real name isn't important, but I am an absolute car nut so I look forward to driving a wide variety of cars in the WRS. As you can tell I'm totally in love with Holdens, anything Holden and I'm there, I'm even chasing down a Holden pool cue as we speak. Like my avatar? That's my ride it's a VR ute with the same Buick V6 used in the GNX minus the turbos, it makes around 135kw and just over 300Nm of torque but that won't stay the same for long lol. I'll have no way of posting replays so if my times are wierdly quick one week I'm disqualified from the race are the conditions I think I agreed to, so let's get out and race.

Hello everyone

My name is Panos, from Greece, 22, currently studying in the UK as an automotive designer. Started playing GT4 about 2 years ago, with a friend of mine that just put me difficult to start with, laps against between us in Nurburgring, him in a Z4 and me in an S2000 :P
Which means i havent done any driving licence in the game and learned the game by experience ^^
Anyway did my qualifying lap over the week and I will pm my split times in the next few seconds to sort out my division. Special thanks to my friend that redirected me in this forum and is a member as well. Snodblatter cheers mate^^
So cya all in the WRS competitions^^

Welcome double poster, I mean SirTakiS, I just joined as well, it looks like fun enough eh? If you're becoming a designer I want you to take as much futuristic design out of cars as possible, put the old skool back in.

^^

Soz for the double post i made it earlier this morning but something was wrong in my internet i will edit it. Yeah i agree it looks fun.
As for the course i am in the final year this year and we have to have a concept way of thinking, thinking outside of the box if u know what i mean. But yeah i agree old school design was cool^^
