High School

I don't even remember my HS quote. That shows how little I cared about my quote. On another note, I wound up running into my middle and high school band directors at the Memorial Day parade. I wound telling my director "Until we meet again, which will probably be at band camp." It's ironic to think that I never wanted to return to camp as a high school senior but always go back now as an alumni anyway.

I might have to do an oral presentation tomorrow for English, I'm going to be saying that piracy shouldn't be banned. I shall be wearing an eye patch :sly:

I'm going to have to go to school 30 minutes earlier too as I have a Year 12 SAC (important test thingy) right in the morning. Fun.

Today is a bit messed up. The juniors have their state testing and this has messed everybody else. I'm stuck in the cafe till eleven and its full of people. In other news I have passed in half my stuff for graduation, still need to complete the senior survey and the senior check list. While passing that stuff in today my principal asked me to come in his office. He wanted to know about my time spent at Kennett since I'm apparently a senior he hardly sees. All I told him was that there is plenty of good and bad at this place, but I felt like this was the perfect HS for me.

Just got home and my mom got this in the mail. I'm so excited!

That SAC went alright, but I has to rush it towards the end due to running out of time. I should've spent less time on multiple choice... my English oral presentation was alright, though. I was originally meant to be one of the last people doing it on Friday, but I decided to just get it out of the way and do it today.

All of the snow is gone so now I can officially say I walked a mile home from school everyday throughout the entire Blizzard of 2015. The frostbite was worth it.

Got the results of a maths test I did on Thursday, I ended up getting 63%. Made a few silly mistakes and they all added up. I also just realised that exams start on Friday :scared:.

I always thought that Senior skip days were pointless. I preferred to save my absences for when I actually needed them instead of blowing off days for some arbitrary day that people say you shouldn't be at school. My class gave up on them because nobody could actually get together and plan a skip day. Everyone made up their own after the first planned skip day.

Senior skip days are today and tomorrow, so we get some time to relax. Sadly three weeks left for me :(
Huh, never heard of skip days. While I'm not actually in my final year until September, the closest thing I'd probably get would be spare blocks. I'm supposed to get at least 30 hours of work experience before I finish high school, and I think I can get a spare if I get all my work experience done. The minimum is 30 hours, but I'll be going for 90.

My final math grade probably dropped a few points, but I still passed with no D's or F's :D

Found out that I got 90% on my English oral presentation on piracy :D The most entertaining one was a common topic, why the use of marijuana should be legalised. The guy doing it hadn't done much preparation, but he still did a decent job. His most memorable quote: "Drugs like ice will make you violent and aggressive against others, but the worst thing that you'll do when you're high would be trying to fight a taco"

I barely have two weeks left. I'm out on the 18th, except for a single provincial exam. I'm mostly in a good spot with all my subjects. Not sure about my current English mark, but it's probably still around 80, which is good enough for me. The scrapbook is due Monday. I think I might be able to pull this off. But it'll be close.

Only five more school days till I start my finals! Its going to be a funky schedule, but I am both excited and nervous for both graduation practice and actual graduation.

All this alkane/alkyl/alkene/alkyne stuff in chemistry is... actually not that confusing. The hardest part in what little we're doing of organic chemistry is probably naming branching hydrocarbons.

Alright here's my schedule for 2 weeks ahead. Which is the last week of middle school.
15- Picnic 16-Yearbook Signing, HR BBall game, 17- Graduation Practice 18- Bye,Bye

Sunday School- 12- Go set everything up and Practice for the 14th. 14- Surprise!

I give a speech at both but Primary school has me as President and I need to do it, which I want to for both. Lesson complete! :P
