High School

Well, that's interesting. But why a PS4 instead of a yearbook?

In my own news, the English scrapbook is due tomorrow, and I've gone into overdrive working on it. I finished drawing all the visuals, and now it's just a matter of coloring all of them. I still have plenty of time. I should be able to finish the one I'm currently on next block, which would leave me with only 3 layouts to go. At the least, I could get a start on the third layout. I doubt I'd finish all of the rest in a single block, but at least I'd go home with just 2 or 3 to color, which is doable. Meanwhile, all my other classes are going fine.

Well today was my last day of classes, and as the BOCES kids came in (They go to a seperate campus for things like car shop and stuff like that), the two girls in Cosmetology started crying which got everyone kinda teary eyed

And it's done. I finished the scrapbook just on time. Last night, I went into overdrive for 2 hours and finished coloring the last 3 layouts. I got to bed half an hour late, but that doesn't matter. It was worth it. As for my other classes, I have no worries. The scrapbook was really the only concern, and I managed to handle.

I guess this technically fits here?

Tomorrow I take my ACT. I've already taken the SAT, which wasn't bad at all. My calc (My friends) had dead batteries but the math was easy enough to do without. These test just take forever!

I got my ACT scores back yesterday in the mail. Scores are:
English: 20
Math: 25
Reading: 21
Science: 24

It took an absolute age to get through it though. I'm planning on taking the SAT later, but I've heard the SAT is easier compared to the ACT.

On the admissions ticket it says to plan being there from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM! The SAT only took around 4 hours.

I took my ACT during school time (since I was a 3rd year student, ACT is administered for free) and they had to break it up into two separate days.

Got some exam results back. I got a B in Physics, B in English, D+ in Maths non-calculator and a D in the Maths calculator. I thought I did bad in English but good in Maths, turns out that it was the other way around!

Messed around today since I didn't have finals today. Going to be extra sneeky tomorrow and I'm going to hide my TV in my duffle bag and we are going to play my PS4 all day.

Finals is next week for me. I could gave gotten onto my town's math team (best in New England) if I wasn't moving this summer. I cri evrytim.

I got 70 percent on my English scrapbook. Good enough. There's no way I'm taking AP next year. Meanwhile, I had the math and chemistry finals today. They weren't so bad. The math final didn't actually have that many questions, but there were a few I didn't get. The chemistry final was quite easy, as it was just 60 multiple choice questions.

In my half yearly report I got excellent results and good comments form all for my teachers :dopey:
And I got B's in half of my subjects and C+'s in the rest of them ;)

Let's see if you guys can spot me lol

Final regular day tomorrow. We probably won't be doing much. I know in English, we're just gonna have a party of some sort. Not sure what's gonna happen in the other classes. Though next week, I will have the socials provincial exam, and I also have work experience planned, and at some point, I'll have to grab my final report card.

I was a judge for Senior Projects at a local high school last week. As part of the students' Senior Project portfolios, they have to have artifacts that demonstrate how they met the project goals and criteria. One of the project goals and criteria was effort and professionalism, and I was floored that text messaging their mentor and other professional stakeholders is now considered an appropriate way to communicate professionally.

Kids. *shakes head*
