High School

My school has 4 too, and a football field and a half assed ice rink. And tennis courts. Yet there is only like 900 people in the district that spans K-12. Everything is like on top of each other.

Your school has everything đź‘Ž .

I just went and looked at my school in Google maps, and there's like 4 baseball diamonds behind the school? Who the hell puts 4 baseball fields right next to each other. You really only need 2 at the most. You could get by with 1.

Sorry accidental double post.

Varsity Softball
Junior Varsity Softball
Varsity Baseball
Junior Varsity Baseball.

More than 2 needed.

My school has 14 baseball diamonds, 30 tennis courts, 4 football fields, and 3 tracks... Why? Don't ask me.

I've done about 35 on a BMX bike down an old cowpath road in the woods. Scared myself :censored:less. On an 18 speed I did 45 down a nearby road.

Wrecked over the bars doing about 30 mph on a mountain bike. I didn't learn and almost lost it doing 45-50 down a road on my brakeless bmx bike. It's fun though.
@bubblebelly how many hours to you spend in shop? This year I was in there for around 3hrs

Instead of 4, actually it looked like 6 but two didn't look right, anyways we could really use 2football fields, one for the football team, one for marching band. But no one likes us band geeks so who cares right?

We have 6 tennis courts, an AstroTurf (used for football, cricket) a field which has either 2 football pitches or 2 rugby pitches depending on the season, a gymnastics hall and a sports hall, which is essentially an indoor baseball court.

Which is all very nice, but I hate PE!

We have far too much for the size of school we are. 300 people and we have 3 rugby pitches and 3 hockey pitches in winter or 3 cricket squares in summer, 2 state of the art outdoor cricket nets, 3 state of the are indoor cricket nets (our school has been chosen as the base for all of the counties' junior team training, so the ECB has paid for it :P). We also have an athletics track, 5 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, a weights area, a big sports hall, a small sports hall, a 25 metre swimming pool and 3 fives courts.. :D

I've got 6 rugby pitches which are turned into 5 cricket fields in the summer, an astro (Hockey and Tennis), 3 tennis courts, a sports hall (with cricket nets inside it), a gym and a 25m swimming pool. :D Far too much, apparently the sports hall + changing rooms, gym, couple of class rooms and the pool cost ÂŁ14million.

I have 2 football fields, 2 rounders fields and a sports hall with badminton nets and basketball hoops and cricket nets in it.

We have a football pitch, an unkempt hockey pitch, half a basketball court and a gym.

We have 2 gyms, plus a weight room, and 2 pools. But one is for little kids because our school has a fitness program and anyone can use it.

On the inside of our school we have 2 gyms, another track, 2 huge pools, and I think that's it.

We don't ever use them though. Maybe just 1 or 2 fields. This is an old picture and it doesn't show the ice rink.

Omg I feel so poor, we have a three football pitches, a rugby pitch, and a really 🤬 running track which isn't even paved

We have about that, I kind of what to take my dirtbike around the running track, flat-track style! :mischievous: Might get expelled for that though...

We just have a field which we're not allowed to use unless in a PE class. It triples as a running track, simply marked with dirt rather than grass... A rugby field with posts at either end, and a special bit of mowed grass in the middle that even when we were allowed on the field we couldn't sit on. :odd: Used for cricket. The other field just has another rugby field. Out the front of the school are the tennis courts (ground is concrete).

TL;DR: Two rugby fields, cricket thing, running track all made of grass. 2 tennis courts made of concrete.

And to add: Our school is really sport focused but like all the school's other facilities it's not very flash... Even with the new classrooms, I barely use them anyway. We're not even allowed in the new hallways during break, the reason? The school is scared the morons in the school will just write little scribbles that no one can read on the walls and break things. :grumpy:

Isn't that a waste that you build more stuff than you could possibly use!?

Most of it was built when the school was rather large. Some entire classes (grades) have less than 30 kids total, thats about 5 kids per teacher, if that. Everyone is leaving the school, staff getting laid off and the school is thinking about merging with another about 8 miles away within the next few years.

Don't forget the fact that last year we won a $250,000 grant from the state for new stuff. That's what that rear bus loop is now, because that was up front. There used to be an entrance up front too but it was too close to the corner so they moved it.

Well, technically the 'ce' means this (masc), so I'm pretty sure 'the video' would be 'le video'. :D

Well look on the bright side, at least you have a small class size. Because for me, if the class sizes are too big then everything will become chaotic. And what happened to make everybody leave the school?

Interestingly, if I could learn 3 other languages, I would learn Spanish (currently studying that now), French and Japanese. But I think that I will never learn Japanese because for most people it takes longer to learn Japanese then it does to learn most other languages.

We only get to pick from Spanish or French, but I'd much rather learn German than either of those two. I chose French.

What a coincidence, those are the 3+1 (I've only done 5 years of Spanish) languages I know :P .

My class is about 80 kids. Economy, and people moved or stopped having kids.
