Preordered.

Played the sniper challenge.
Lots of fun.
Can't wait to play Hitman

I wish release would hurry up, avoiding all these trailers is becoming hard work.

It's great to hear Bateson at the end of that vid, I am so glad he is back.

Here is a couple cool short films that have just surfaced

1st:

And the making of:

2nd:

I think they're both even better than the Hitman movie, especially the first.

As I mentioned I have been avoiding trailers but I have been waiting for Agent 47's ICA file and it didn't dissapoint.

If you read some of the documents I like how Agent 47 was described by someone as "two SEAL teams, a SAS squadron, and a goddamn munitions depot packed into two hundred pounds of flesh."

Launch Trailer

Getting some audio glitches; dialogue audio is not being played during the cut scenes.... Sometimes there is no audio at all during cut scenes; others just the dialogue is missing.

Overall the graphics are very well done. Gameplay is fun so far, I am maybe an hour in...

Game is hardly optimized; getting 35 fps all maxed (8x msaa, which is overkill imo) at 1920 x 1080 on a single OC'ed 7950. Get about 45 fps knocking it down to 4x msaa which is completely playable for this game type.

Kinda liked this "review" Conan did, though don't watch if he passes you off...made me want to check it out though and the franchise had *never* previously appealed to me.

Mmmm, that does look pretty good, great screenshots Zoo. I've heard it doesn't bear much resemblance to the previous four games though, some levels don't have assassination targets (I can only think of one in the three Hitmans I've played with no target), others pretty much only have one way to complete them and... I don't know. The whole appeal of Hitman is the freeform aspect to the hits and without a hit or freeform gameplay I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it all that much. I want to watch gameplay videos to see if it's my cup of tea or not but that will involve spoilers!

It does look great graphically, I'm not surprised your rig threw a fit about 8x!

Gotta love how my one link to the video became 3 links to totally unrelated...stuff. But Jordan has to pay the bills!

EDIT: Appears only non-members get all the other "buzz word" links, interesting.

I have been playing this and loving it, especially the visuals (PC) are amazing, I am kinda surprised my PC is capable of these visuals. The worlds are so full of detail to the point it makes older games look barren.

The gameplay is very good but as mentioned so far not every level is the traditional sandbox, you still have choice how you want to pull them off and I am enjoying it. Contracts mode should really bring those levels alive.

I killed the King of Chinatown with a execution style single gunshot in the back of the head and with the spray and wound it was very satisfying and made it feel like a 'hit'.

^Playing at max resolution too. 44 fps average. 38 min. It's more than okay for a 5 year old PC.

The game:
The Hitman levels, I love. So much too discover, do, and kill. Oldschool through and through.

The Splinter Cell levels, booofff, not really my type of Hitman game, the narrow path of good accomplishement is very narrow, it's basicly a don't get caught game at that point.

I got from 4th position world wide (silent assassin) in the hitman levels to -1400 in one splinter cell level.

How the hell should you attack the Hope sherrif departement level.
Either you go as Hitman and are KOS, or as a police officer, which doesn't work too....

But the game is really cool, this is some high level moaning.

Though on the resurrected games, the best is still Max Payne. Came closest to the old games. This is a bit too far from the old formula, at least for me. But I enjoyed every minute of it noneoftheless

Which level is that again?

Anyone else playing around with contacts mode on PC?

I made a what I believe to be a fairly good contract in the courthouse:

I called it "Sensitive truths"

The code: 3-1710-100385-VIPE

Got this for Christmas and I love it. I genuinely have a chance of scoring my first platinum trophy with this too. Feel free to add me on psn. The contracts mode is excellent, but only one of my psn friends has this game.

Can't wait for the upcoming HD trilogy. It was confirmed a few weeks ago. Haven't played those games in a while.

I played the compete series through (PC) shortly before Absolutions release, was good to catch up with the story and feel of Agent 47.
