 None taken.

They could tell its a girl due to the different nature of the pubic bones men have to women, so basically we saw 3 white lines which ment that it's a girl somehow.

Beats me but hey, i'm happy :sly:

This is actually so cuuuute. This has really cheered me up reading this. I suppose your dreams of having a game of footy in the local park have gone now then.

Last time my girfriend was pregrand I applied the falcron punch. Plobrem baby? *troll face*
...... Wow I hope your not serious  :ouch:

Congrats Mike I cannot begin to understand how you are feeling at this moment in time :)

You're a class act who deserves emasculation...Beat it, kid.

And don't bother replying "LOL, I was just joking", either.

^ 👍

Didn't get much sleep last night, kept thinking/dreaming of my future little girl....can't wait to meet her

Congratulations Mike :D

I think there's something in the water - all these baby girls.

Don't get upset if she doesn't recognise you at first. ;)

Girls are great, especially for dads (but I'm biased I guess), but boys are 'easier' as they get older, shall we say...

Morning dudes :)

By popular request (mostly by madmike!) here's little India :D

"But daaaaad, I'm sleepy... leave me alone!"

"Oh my god, you didn't just do that, did you dad?"

"Hey dudes!" (Pics or it didn't happen)

Finally got around to this after getting a WHOLE 9 HOURS SLEEP! WHOOP!

Had a weird dream last night that my little family and I were holidaying in India, it was amazing. Probably the first dream that I have had in years which hasn't been an adrenaline fueled post apocalyptic frenzy. Let the good times roll.

Today, India is off to meet her Great Grandmother. Should be a great day!

Awwwww!

She's adorable mate, good genes 👍

Hope my daughter is that cute, I can tell already I will be powerless if she is a propper daddys girl

It's great madmike, if she starts getting restless it's a joy to go and pick her up out of her moses basket to fuss her. The way your child looks (or doesn't look) at you is intoxicating.

So far, being a parent is great. I'm sure there will be many trials and tribulations over the years to come but I'm so optimistic about them all. Which is strange for me as over the past five years I was slowly becoming very pessimistic. Now I have regained my drive, a sense that I have the will and power to achieve what I need to in order to keep my little one safe from an ever increasingly crazy world.

I can't wait to get her sat in front of a steering wheel :D

Ok Spun i'm sold!

Can't wait till it's my turn, everything you said sounds awesome.

Also Shem, yes, best Facepalm ever.

Cheers guys :) I guess those red-head genes really show, huh?

Hows everything going at your end madmike?

What is it with GTPers having girls, and not just girls but girls with loads of hair??

(Around 4 hours old here)

Very cute MC! She looks a lot like India :D

EDIT: Technically, India looks at lot like her, as your little one came first!

That is a lot of hair on baby Fam. Must be the diet, eh? Maybe? Slightly? Maybe not?

Who am I kidding, I'm no paediatric anything! :(

How's the little one keeping MC? All's good I hope.

Aww Milford she's very sweeeeeeeet! Mrs mad says both your's and Spun's babies are very cute, and I agree 👍

And yes, lots of GTP girls being born! I hope my child is as cute as all yours!

Glad you asked......

Week 21

http://www.pregnancyguideonline.com/wk21.htm

Over halfway now! I must say Mrs Mad is getting biiiiiiiiig! (In a nice way) she has a nice, hard, smooth bump which I can't resist rubbing like a lamp  She's not overly enthralled by that mind....

I notice she is getting tired again, but the baby is going through a big growth spurt at the moment so that makes sense I guess.

I think the best highlight from this week was feeling for the first time, my little girl kick! It was AMAZING! I haven't felt her since but Mrs Mad has felt her loads, which is really reassuring and cool.

Since letting family know the sex we have received alot of clothes/gifts/pink items, which is awesome but, has made us realise it is very easy to overdo the whole pink thing, so we are trying to think of other girl friendly themes rather than pink, any ideas? (Milford, Spun?)

My thoughts this week:

You have probably gathered that i'm still very excitable and happy!
Thankfully I have had no real dark thoughts or dread this week, which is the first time in the whole pregnancy and a welcome break...I hope this continues 👍

Maybe knowing more has eased your nerves. Not knowing is where anxiety comes from :)

Good on ya Mike! Sounds like things are going well. :D For a change from the pink you could go for some Hello Kitty* stuff which tends to be red, white and dark blue. We also found that a lot of the French baby clothes for girls are often not pink. It's worth a hunt on the web if you can't get over there. 👍

*not that I am in any way endorsing one product over another.

Lovely pic Milford - surprisingly like Dad in that picture, would you say? ;)

Purple!

She looks more like me as each day passes. She has my rubberface and pulls the same expressions with it.

My little lady looked just like me when she was born, even to the point of people laughing about it (in a good way). But as she's getting older (5 years old) she's changing and looking more and more like mum. I'm not fussed, what chances would she have in later life looking like a bloke! I've heard that this is quite common and often put down to an in-built survival technique that evolution has developed so the father does not subconsciously reject the sproglet and offers that child a greater chance to live. Whether that's true or not, I don't know - would make sense though.
