Nah, it was about 2am. The car turns in nice, the front digs in and the rear comes around nice... I just wanna toss some R compounds on it and take it to the track.

Taurine - Looks awesome! Whats next for the project, and have you been pricing out the rest of the turbo build yet?

Time Attack - Even though its Wal-mart, they do have an auto section, and with your employee discount, that could prove useful to you. 👍

WHAT THE?! I'm speechless...

Kind of looks like an Enzo got really drunk one night and went home with a Celica. :scared:

Oh no, please don't tell me Honda is going for 'F1 inspired' styling aswell now?

(Mixed with Cadillac CIEN)

Hey all! Just stopping by to show my support for all things made by Honda. :D Right now, I'm driving a 2003 Acura RSX Type-S, bone stock.
It's my daily driver, but hopefully it will see the track soon.

But for now here she is:

All that is is a cadilac cein with different grill, emblem and lights plus the roof scoop. Its clearly a cadilac though. Even those wheels are whats on the cein.

Bad photoshop 👎

toyomatt84 - You can always do what my friends do in parking lots. Park in the far back and on an angle taking up 2 spaces. It works for them, and so far they're paint jobs are all one color.

Heh, yeah, with the type of people that I live near, I'd expect to see about 4 cars forming a corral around my car if I did that. :)

@ toyomatt: I only just read your post earlier on about seeing me on H-T. I also saw you over there the other day. Didnt know you where on here to though!! Em2 eh? You should get some pics over here. I only recently ventured out of the ef/crx section lol. Theres some realy realy nice cars out there.

You didn't know I was on GTP? Wow, I've been here for almost 4 years bud. Take a look here. I don't feel like posting my car here, because I don't see the use. I'll just hear a lot of the teenage banter that I got out of some of the users on Honda-tech. Some people just don't know what they're looking at sometimes. I'm not phased by them, though. I'll just laugh when I finish my project, and they all praise for how good it looks. It's the typical hater-tech. :)

I raced a new mustang gt today.

I wasnt suspecting it so he launched and I didnt but once I see he wants to do something I'm on it and I was actually just a fender behind about to shift to 4th and gaining when I had to slow for traffic and he had a clear lane...

InsaneRacer - Welcome to the club! Nice ride, and especially love the color. How long have you had the car, and any plans for adding any mods?

Toyomatt84 - Thats cool that you don't wanna post pics, but don't be put off by other peoples comments. Everyone has different tastes, and everyone has opinions. One thing i've noticed though, its usually the people with no ride, or one that should be considered scrap, that have the most negative comments.

I love the "Honda's suck! RICER! 4 bangers are slow, get a real engine" comment, followed by them getting into their moms rusted out, piece of **** '88 Pontiac Sunbird with no muffler and one working power window and trying for 20 minutes to start the stupid thing before leaving in a cloud of blue smoke. (yes, i'm describing someone and someones car that I know who makes comments like that)

Oh, the comments weren't referring to the fact that my car is a Honda, per-say. It was more along the lines of what choice I made for my wheels. Some people think that because the design is prior to my car's generation, that they don't belong on my car. But, I could care less what they think. I save over 8lbs a rim with them over the previous set, and I know how rare they are. That's all that really matters to me.

EDIT: Oh, what the heck, might as well post it now.

Nice choice! 👍 Supension, K-Pro, I/H/E should be next, haha. Have fun

Thx man! It was a graduation present in '03. I'm still saving up money for mods, and a trip, so it will be will be a while.

Nice car man! Don't worry about what other people think. Like you said, it's what you think. I'm more concerned on "go" rather than "show" personally, and I consider most wheel designs just for show, anyways. 8X4=32lbs less unsprung weight, that's the biggest factor in the end.

Just don't go putting any altezza lights and Triple Decker wings on. :yuck:....

Thx! My main goal is to take it to the track, and start learning how to really drive my car. But, I'm planning on doing K-Pro, I/RH/E, with IPS cams, LSD, and a good suspension and brake set-up. That's probably where my modding will stop.

Are you kidding me, they actually made comments on your rims because of the generation/style difference?! I think they look good (although personally i'd prefer them black with the chrome ring, but thats personal taste) plus they save weight which is the important part. Its looking good so far man, just ignore the stupid comments and keep us updated! 👍

How do you like the car so far? My friend has a 2001 Si (American EX) and he hasn't had any problems with it so far, except for the gold color being horribly ugly. About a month ago, I had the chance to pick up a 2002 Si Veloz edition for next to nothing, but decided to pass it up since I hadn't read up on the car all that much.

InsaneRacer - All I got for graduating was a pat on the back. :guilty:

Time_Attack: Thanks bud, I plan on lowering it next, with some stiff coilovers. I'm quite happy with my decisions so far with the car. :)

VIPERGTSR01: Yeah, most people just looked at them, said they were "gay" and left it at that. They don't look into the details behind it. If anyone were to look at how many AE86's use these rims for hard track abuse, they'd see just how well they perform. But, I'm not angry with those who dislike the style I've chosen, because I didn't buy it for them. This was strictly a personal decision. They'd probably get a little more peeved with the other rims I'm planning on buying this fall, though. :) SSR Defi's.

InsaneRacer: No need to worry about me putting a wing on my car. I've been an anti-ricer for years. I'm looking into some F2 (Form and Function) coilovers next, with custom spring ratios. I'm looking to get either 12k/14k springs or 18k/24k. It all depends on what I hear back from King Motorsports (they're located only 20mins from my house) about their track RSX. Since I share an extremely similar chassis, I'd like to have a suspension that's been track tuned for performance reasons. I will boast a bigger engine, but I won't be telling them that. :)

I'll also be throwing a stroked K24 (out of a TSX) with a DC5-R 6speed (with LSD) and some Gator EP3 axles. I plan on doing a 2.6L N/A buildup for my little EM2. The only visual stylings you might see on it, would be an Acura EL frontclip ('04 - '05) and a lip kit. I'll probably need mudflaps for the rear as well, because with the width of my rim/tire setup, I get a lot of debris on the sides of my car. :(

SRV2LOW4ME: I love my car, by now. It's got a comfortable interior (I'm not all that short), the pedal spacing is such that I can perform some heel/toe driving, the drivetrain has HUGE swappability (K-series), the dash is clean with smooth lines, there's tons of trunkspace (fit's 2+ golf bags, no I don't golf, but I had to tote some people around that did), and it's lighter than an RSX by a good amount. :)

People who hate on SSR Reverse Mesh need mental help.

Got myself some Spoon calipers to go on the Integra, pictures coming whenever they're here, and installed... 👍

Toyomatt84 - 2 golf bags? I can barely fit 2 grocery bags into my trunk! I should mention theres a bunch of speakers and amps hogging all the room though, but still.
Are you lucky enough to have a fold down back seat? Only one section of my back seat folds down to reveal this little 8"x12" hole, which isn't good for anything. :indiff:

PunkRock - Nice, can't wait to see the pictures man. If ya don't mind me asking, where'd you get them from? I've shopped around the US Spoon site, but unfortuantly there aren't many products designed for the Prelude. :guilty:

Time Attack - Love the pictures! The one of the graveyard made me laugh though as i've never thought of taking pictures of my car there before.

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures, I don't even think I have seen your Integra yet.

PunkRock: Those will look nice, as well as perform well on the Teg'. What year is your Integra? 2 or 4 door? Or just give me the chassis code and it'll save typing. :) I'm going to source either EP3 Spoon calipers or sacrifice a ton of labor and rig up some NSX calipers to my car.

SRV2LOW4ME: Both seats do fold down completely, which is nice, but I don't really have a use for it. Maybe in the winter time, for my snowboards, but I'm getting a Yakima or Thule for that. :)
