Clean Civic, toyomatt. The wheels are slightly goofy and look heavy as crap, but they're "unique".
You going to run an intake pipe from the headlight area onto the turbo?

Yeah, I had no clue what rims those were, matt. I can say for sure I've never seen another Civic, or any car for that matter, with those rims, so yours would stand out in a crowd, which is cool. I didn't realize they were that light, either. So they look cool, they're functional, and that's all you need. Are the rims used or have you always had them? I'm guessing they were fairly inexpensive, also. Triple wammy.
Thanks for straightening me out. I've already said I was pretty uneducated about all this stuff, and that's one reason I joined the club. You said the rims were "late '80s/early '90s", so I figured the actual rims were that old. I didn't realize a manufacturer would produce the old design for this long.
You say they're really rare, and I bet it's pretty cool to know you're not likely to see another car with the same rims as you, no matter where you go. Do a lot of people like them and know what they are, or do they wonder "why the hell did he put those ugly ass things on there?"
If you ever get a chance to look up a driver that has done what I'm about to do (in a way), you should look up Ryan Ordinario and his EF Civic hatchback. He's got 16+ sets of rims/tires (all JDM pieces of hotness), and I plan to top his collection.
Thank you Time_Attack and SRV2LOW4ME for the backup. đź‘Ť
This is the time when I'm embarrased to be a Honda owner. Some people just take it too seriously.
Yea some of those civics seem to be running on a fair bit of sticker horsepower.
If you are going to make your car fast (ie turbo) I personally think that doing that is enough, are all those ricey stickers really necesary? Id rather just keep it simple, like painting it bright yellow or something. . .
