I got blackscreened for too long and when my screen went into game-mode, everyone was gone. My internet then faltered, and got disconnected. ****. This killed my motivation for the rest of the season, honestly.

And for that I trained all the whole week? I know I discard the worst result, but I don't know if I'll be at Laguna Seca, so that was to be my discarded result. I was feeling so confident for the race, too... This will sound VERY childish, but I want to cry.

It's very frustrating as well like you mentioned. Invested a week of practice. I look at like my motor blew on pace lap. One of the worst things to happen online racing. Rather be ran over on track then DC'd or black screened out.

Sorry I couldn't make the race! I got home an hour later than I thought I would (and I only went out for a couple of hours. I know - bad judgement) . Was really looking forward to it aswell.

I had no idea you had Blackscreened. However, that looks to be on your end, is you disconnected right after. If you said that you got blackscreened, we'd back out and restart the race.

Well, disconnected would be the wrong word. I just got "kicked off the track", but not off the room. It's worse, knowing it could have been restarted. Quite more depressing, I'd say.

I'll treat this as an engine blow, as Owens wisely commented. Still, it's depressing. Thanks for your sympathy, guys. I'm just really unhappy now. Might see things differently tomorrow? Bah.

I started 3/4 and although I finished 6th, I think, I really really enjoyed that! Everything was going ok until my very conservative looking after my tyres exercise seemed to be holding what looked like the whole field, then I got bumped and then the whole field just flew past. Fell to about 9th and had to just knuckle down. Had some good running with Paul. And I thought my superior driving skills had put payed to him. But no, he got disconnected. Had a senna type moment mid race when I was doing consistent 33s while saving tyres and being on my own. I think those laps put me back in the running. In to the last stint I could see Wii but I just couldn't catch him knowing if I'd pushed really hard then the tyres would of just fallen off that cliff. Anyway, cracking race, congrats to welshman and to mule for hosting once again! On to daytona and the bloomin nasty turn 1.

me and nep got into the 54s round daytona so i rekon pole will be 53s i deffo prefer Daytona to Nurb as a track for doing 1 lap flyers but the race will be manic with the draft so it should be fun

I went from 13th to 2nd on the first lap of the race in Season 1.

Wow, maybe thats why people hate Daytona. Its a draft fest. Train status will be activated on that race lol. However, the track is easier on the tires and not hard to set up for.

Great racing today everyone. Sorry to those who didn't get to finish. Hopefully I wasn't too much of an obstacle for you all. I wasn't suprised by my finish, being 3 laps down at the end is pretty disheartening. However, I am proud to say that I achieved a personal best today getting a lap in at 1'35.xxx. Hopefully I can continue to increase my skill. Looking forward to next weeks race!

Just a quick heads up, at Daytona there is a bug with the pits which we found out about last season. When the car is pulling out of its pit stall, it will sometimes pull out to wide and go out into the grass. This will reset the car back to the start of the pit lane forcing you to pit all over again. You can prevent this by hitting the start button as your car leaves its pit stall, which will slow down its exit and keep in on the road.

sorry for missing the race today guys. i would have liked to be there as theres more competition at the back compared to the elise series, just got caught up having fun in the sun.

i intend to be present for most if not all remaining races, as i do enjoy and appreciate the work that goes into organizing these races.

I like it as well. The draft makes things a bit crazy off the start, but once everyone spreads out it makes for some good racing.

I like the track itself, easy on the tires and easy to set up. The problem is the exaggerated draft of GT5 that may ruin the race for many.
