I'm thinking black with red interior.
I'll just need to get the interior sorted as it has a roll cage and one seat.
I already have a few ideas though.

You guys cannot believe how relieved I am knowing I have a dark blue sharpies and even more so that the Annihilator is itself a dark blue... of all colours the designer chose it to be.

I FINALLY covered up all the faded ink on the decals so there's no more noticeable white edges now. Fixed up the rugged paint, sealed that crap up with 3 coats of clear and letting that sit for a day. Going to paint up the engine and craft whatever stuff left is needed for this engine bay and finish that poop up so I can get on the police cars.

Idk if anyone is interested in entering. There is no entry fee ignore that. Winner gets all customs entered and a nice throphy.

currently there at 3 others in the compitition

 That is tacky text regardless of how nice I want to put it. Trust me.

Anyway, just to clarify since you didn't really explain anything (for the sake of informing every reader here), you're hosting a contest?
  • I pay $5 to play
  • I take a Porsche 911 GT2 casting and modify it anyway I want.
  • I have to also forfeit my creation to you once I'm done.
  • Winner takes all customs made and apparently this trophy (which we don't even get to see a picture of).

Am I missing anything? I'm not here to talk you down, but it seems like the preparations made aren't well figured out yet. Or maybe you haven't presented it.

Here's some questions I have for you.
  • Why do we have to pay $5 to participate AND lose our own creation (regardless if we win or not)?
  • Where does that $5 go to?
  • Even if the winner wins back their work, what good is it for someone to own someone else's personal creation?
  • What benefit is there to that? If I won, that means other peoples' works aren't as good, so why would I want to keep that?
  • What is this trophy you speak of? Can I get a picture of it so I at least know what it is I want to win?

Follow me on Instagram everything you need to know is there. @dblltke registration is now free I will find the throphy ( I will make this trophy it will deff be unique. I work at a body shop. I know hot to weld and make access to many tool and material I have some very cool in mind) the gt2's will be mailed me and I will do a professional picture of every custom I get. And then everyone in contest will post one picture of each custom. With creator remaining anonymous then on the 31st of may I will tally all likes and winner will be chosen. Winner will get the awesome throphy and all entered cars. This is the first of many more contest to come many more themes too. Sorry about the spelling punctuation ect.. I had to type this quickly sorry again

No this is the first one I host. Which is why it's a little confusing lol feel free to join the more people the better. Only rules are no previews of your builds aloud.

Please excuse the crappy photos. Also, all the black dots on the back of the car are just plastic shavings I forgot to wipe off before I snapped the pics.

I'm going to steal the hell out of that intercooler dude, sorry.

The exhaust is really cool too. And those taillamps do look good. I'll piut them to good use soon, promise.

He wants to show off the RX-7 in his weekly customs post tomorrow.

That is very nice though. I personally would've added a racing stripe.

Jason, the RX7 is , love the slash cut exhaust as well. 👍

Andy, the blog looks great, 👍 it's very comprehensive and looks very professional.

And disaster has struck... 1st coat of red mica on the Z has not gone to plan, instead of the colour i was expecting, it's turned out looking like the TH 2000GT colour. Ah well, you live and learn i guess.

The sun was playing around.. hence different looking colour.

That's not too too bad.

Metallic red makes objects look like a rigid structure. Maybe I only make such associations thanks to Mech suits and Iron Man.

Started to work on the interior of the scirocco. Still needs a lot of work. Making the roll cage deff isn't easy.

And the Miata might take a while, so you don't want to wait for that.
Well the longest projects are usually the most successful in my opinion. ;)

I did go in Lowes hardware recently and they have a lot of good stuff for the dremel and I did see the bit you were talking about and I may get it soon. ;) I know I don't have that bit, as for the nails I have no idea. Where are some other places I can find them?

That's not bad at all At1, granted it's not the color I would have gone for by far but it doesn't look bad like to say "disaster struck" It'll look better when your wheels are bronze.

The *screws? ;)

Try True Value. You're bound to have one in your area. You may have to get the #2 washers at a hobby store that sells R/C cars & parts.

Believe it or not it roll perfectly and does not rub on a smooth surface.

Went with the interior and engine of a Ferrari Enzo made it fit perfectly. This car would be a monster if it was real.

ALMOST DONE THE ANNIHILATOR. Thing's stopping me from doing other projects!

Just finished fitting the engine at an appropriate height. Only need to file off some more plastic so the wheels don't touch it.

It's all on the engine. The colouring was with sharpie's and the blue wire is 22 AWG.

Kept it preview size for the forum, if you would like to see the huge original size: http://athobbies.blogspot.ca/2013/04/almost-complete-annihilator-street-rod.html
