Nah. I don't think you've seen my box full of other cars that I haven't even started on. It is no exaggeration when I say there are hundreds of unstarted project that have sat in the backlog for years.

I'm looking to see if I can finally start one of my 1:24 models this weekend.

Also, the primary reason is that I've made the 934 collection a detailed-exclusive. Meaning each mainline release I get will receiving detailing. There won't be a separate collection of unmodified 934s. All I'm missing now is the black one.

I've got like 3 or 4 black ones. There a real nice castin except the back corner bumper bit could have been moulded a bit better IMO.

New post at Custom Diecast México, this time from our friends the Custom Bros.

Is the wing normally bent like that???

I'm unsure if I like the heightened ratio of blacks in this composition. It feels a bit too heavy. What do you guys think?

I love that, as for my eclipse, yeah the wing was like that when I got it and there is no stress fractures or marks on the underside so I presume so. It had the bigger wheels on it front and back so I swapped them for a smaller set and it looks much better IMO.

@r1600: ohh I see, yeah it's a $3 mainline, I say $3 as that's the price of hw's here in Australia.

I wonder if anyone's tried a X2010 livery on a Formula Street...
It's a shame I don't have a lot of spare time to make one, though.

Basing this on the hurdles of Facebook posts on my news feed of custom cars made by a bunch of dudes in America, Thailand and Japan, I have not seen a single body attempt an X2010 of any kind. Be the first to though :)

Oh this just absolutely stomps on the regular cool classics one. This is considerably better, and it was my favorite cool classics to begin with.

Here's an old school gtr

I tried to do the old style roundish square tail lights and iam not to happy with them tbh.

Here's one of my first customs, it's a wingless 34 gtr iam not sure if I've posted it before, it's abit rough but I think the colour and wheels work a treat.

Umm a Motormax 1:24 I think it was?

I like the treatment to the wheels on the Hako. I have to remember to do something like that sometime.

Now that I look at it a second time, the shape of the openings (the negative space) the white creates look pretty good.

Ahh ok I didn't know it was a 1:24 scale I thought it was a hw or matchbox or something or rather. Yeah the white wheels stand out massively on the dark body. Not happy with how the tail lights turned out though.

This is more of a repair job than anything, but I made up the missing parts (which I will point out):

This is a Del Prado 1/64 Morita MSR-1 Super Rapid 1998 Japan. I bought this because it was cheap because it had missing parts. I did not notice just how many things were already broken until it arrived. To stay relevant to the topic, here are the missing parts I fabricated:

No sirens, no whatever-was-on-the-back. Here was the workaround:

And here's what it looks like now:

Here's another one:

This rod was broken into two. The pieces were present, but it no longer looked good since it couldn't keep a straight line. I swapped in a completely different piece of brass tubing I painted grey to keep it understated.

Hey everyone, if anyone has some basic Tomicas or Matchbox cars they'd like to get rid of, please message me as I'm desperately trying to find Tomicas XD

Thanks for reminding me. I still got my truckload of cars I should probably just auction off for the price of garbage. You guys are interested in the market for boat loads of disassembled cars, right?

Before shot isn't mine.

Given I only have hand files (visible in background) grinding the roof scoops off was a pain in the arse. Up next is stripping it.

I try stay away from the rally style cars, the impreza wrc is the same, body sits way to high and just looks wrong IMO, it's even to high for a real rally car. So I've tried in the past to add to the body to bring it closer to the ground but I wasn't happy with it. Be intresting to see what plans you have for the evo.
