Just finished customizing and detailing this (excluding the paintjob and logo). 57' chevy suburban.

Hello, I am just starting out in 1:64 customs. Mostly simple repaints and such for now.I do have a question though. Are there any sites or places i can find/buy decals (either dry rub or wet apply) that i can use to replace the Badges and emblems of my cars? (i.e. the F150 badge for a ford pick up, the SS badge for a '70 Chevelle, the lettering for DODGE from the back of a 2011 Charger...)

My plan is for highly detailed customs and i feel these small touches are necessary. Any help you can offer would be great.

Thanks in advance

As @R1600Turbo said, you indeed have to make your own, and in the case of emblems, they'll work only if you're applying them to a lighter background.

I think that was 3D printed by a hobbyist over in south-east Asia. There's a few customizing folks over there dabbling with printed parts already. if you have a Facebook account, look up Japan Hot Wheels Association, follow them. There are a few people there regularly posting new creations. One of them probably knows who to contact for those wheels.

Anyone know a company called 7Eight toys? Apparently they make custom wheels in 1:64, found this image posted over on clubroadster.net:

They're made by one of the guys that does the Lamley customs blog (Toy4dr, i think is the guys name). They look pretty good. 👍

We've never turned to Instagram to promote Custom Diecast Mexico. Maybe it's time.

I definitely would. Also, Instagram is where the people who run the Lamley Customs blog find about 90% of their work, plus they have their own works on there. So, you would get more people seeing your work for sure.

Because unless you have an Alps printer, it's impossible to print white-based decals on clear paper. One day, maybe.

edit:

Ah, new page, new box of stuff:

A little late, but what are going to do with that blue 917 and Group B Citroen?!

Well, the 917 will get a racing livery of some sort and another color on the interior. The Citroen, I'm torn on hardcore street car or full-on rally car, as the thing doesn't have a rollcage and stuff so I'd have to basically dump the interior and make one from scratch.
