Nice. Ive always wanted a evo in real life. Im on the hunt for hw one now

It's not a hw casting, it's just some cheap one I come accross and I thought the casting was fantastic. Hw do have an Evo casting but it's a Evo 10 not 8. Got a bug eye wrx coming to, trying to make it look like my rexy lol.

Edit- ok so I have two more customs to show you for the time being.

1- 76 greenwood corvette, resprayed,wheel swap,lowered,detailed.

The Celica still needs its front windscreen replaced but you get the idea.

Im a big vette fan... thats an awesome one you got. I like the ridiculous wide body.

Now celicas... idk about those cars man.. lol
Good work though

Yeah Iam not much of a Celica fan myself but since I had it sitting there I thought it would look a lot better without the massive oversize plastic rear wing so it required some patch work. Thanks for the comments and likes, much appreciated.

Here's one of my "bug eye" subi's I've done. It has been lowered, wheel swap, resprayed and detailed, custom exhaust, rear wing removed, hope you like.

Nice. The rear end of it looks realistic. U need to put ur cars in a diorama. It would look pretty neat i bet

I got another short wide 1996 silverado im working on tonight. I will post pics tomorrow morning

Thanks mate, yeah I've been thinking of like making a twisty mountain road with a few cars drifting and like a service station at the bottom of the hill or a parking area with them all there for some sort of street meet. Just takes time that's all and with my spinal injury and looking after two kids, can't find time.

I hear you. Finding time is tough. I want to start building one. Mine will prob be a model replica of the shop i am building in real life. Heres an update on the silverado. I painted it white and detailed the interior. I also found the perfect wheels for it.

While im waiting for the silverado to dry im messing around with these wheels..
I start with the first wheel.. then i dremel out the middle of the second wheel and combine the two. They look like mini toyos!

I like the black hoods on both and I really like how you detailed the taillights on the Datsun!

Evo 8 detailed, wheel swap, lowered and custom exhaust made.

I like the color on this one! You did an excellant job with the detailing, awesome! Wheels look a little small though.
I resprayed my dually, slammed it and did a wheel swap. I rounded the wheels off to give it that stretched tire look. It still rolls and pulls a gooseneck just fine 👍. View attachment 500832View attachment 500832
Nice! I had to completely remove the chassis to drop mine and fit bigger diameter wheels and fatter duals on the rear. Also i had to grind the inner wheel wells to male the wheels fit snugand still roll. (My driver side fender is in prime right now..dremel tool went ape **** in my hands and i gauged it :tdown:Had to re work it and ill paint it when i get some spare time) What color are you painting it?View attachment 502916

Whoa, now I really like my customs casual and this totally appeals to me! I love it!
Found a 2015 silverado. I didnt like the factory wheels and paint scheme so i resprayed it black, color matched the bumpers and grill, detailed it, Lifted it and made some custom wheels for it to give that deep dish look. It def could be a show truck. its too clean.

Indeed.
The paint looks so smooth and shiny! I like the idea of jacking it up! 👍

All black chevrolets.

The 1997 short bed was probably one of the toughest builds. Every square cm had to be customized in some way in order to fit the huge wheels in there and still roll. It was shaved and re sprayed. Reminds me of the custom trucks you see in Truckin mag. It has a detailed interior with a roll cage.

This 2003 got re sprayed all black including wheels with red interior.

Good choice of color and wheels! I actually like them without spoilers, especially the Skyline! 👍

Thanks mate for the kind words I appreciate them. As for the red Evo 8, I tried to give it that "stance" look with the smaller stretched tyre look as for the yellow one, I think the wheels really set it of.

It is indeed the 356A Outlaw.

The Outlaw was covered with an acrylic enamel clear, whereas the Hurcan was hit up with a matte clear which I later buffed up with 8000 grit, 10000 grit, 12000 grit, and Tamiya "Fine" polishing compound. Why? I'm just trying out new stuff I bought. It will have a flat finish in the end.

It's funny that because I have a new 86 or brz whatever you fancy lol and I stripped it,sanded it back with a steel wheel on the dremel and used polish myself and I must say it does come out looking pretty sweet.

Yeah the outlaw casting is one beautiful casting IMO. Something totally different to play with.

Well our ink cartridge finally came in recently. Now I just need to print out the decal I plan to use for the Sierra, touch up two places on body, and then clear coat it and hope nothing goes wrong. The project is almost finished. I absolutely dread working with decal paper again, but I totally look forward to the results! :D

You're welcome! :) I like the wheels too, I just wish they had made them a little bit bigger.

Yeah that's what I thought, me and the missus were at a second hand shop and they had a big basket of cars in there. Went through it and sadly the commodore was the only decent or rare casting in there. It was a "2000 Olympic torch relay" car but it was in tatters already. Be worth abit if it was mint and still in box. It had a poxy plastic wing on the back all bent out of shape as well so I took it of and just patched the hole.

Hey emcee im working on something i think youd like to take a look at. Its a ford escort rally. It had a wing but i shaved it off. Its getting re sprayed and im thinking about giving it my race team color scheme. Wheel swap and lowering the rear a little to give it that rally car look. Also gonna make some mud flaps for it.

Aren't the wheels a size too big for the Escort?

Looking at this, If I was doing this project, I'd raise it and make it into a Dakar or something.

Nah I'd prefer going the lowered look tbh. No escorts raced in the Dakar as far as I know.

The mudflap idea sounds sweet, just remember to get the ride height to your liking before making the mudflaps.

Got a few things in the works myself, besides the commodore everyone knows about,I am doing another "bug eye" rexy,re spraying and re detailing my wide body 34 gtr and my wide body fiat and a camaro, so I am busy. Lol

Oh I almost forgot, working on a trueno also, which seems to have turned into a somewhat "rare" casting here in Australia.

I does look a bit off now that you mention it. I want to make some mini replicated OZ wheels for it. And i will make it sit a little higher than stock in the front and stock in the rear. I just built a baja truck last weekend i forgot to put it on here. I will show u guys when i get home.

I want to see the wrx rexy car you speak of.. in fact i want to see a line up of your current projects. I will show mine too, buts its pretty random.. from lifted trucks to totally slammed. Some muscle cars, street rods and even a couple imports

Or try make some minature BBS style rims.

I already have posted one bugeye wrx and that was the wingless blue I posted earlier on in the thread. I have a white one with the wing coming which Iam trying to make like my wrx except I have the wagon.

Oh btw, where is everyone posting from? Iam from Gold Coast Australia.

In your profile settings, there is the option for users to include their locations, which you should see below everyone's avatars, but you probably won't see it if you've been using the mobile view exclusively.
