@Missfrost good job on the stripes. Stripes are pretty tough to pull off when they're on a 1/64 scale car imo.

I started messing with my dodge again because it just wasnt cool enough.. so i decided to make a ridiculously stretched set of wheels for it. The tires i went with are a little taller so i added a small lift. I found the lift and axles from a future rock crawler rig that wasnt worth keeping. Heres a pic of the new wheels and the front axle going on the ram. The rear one is identical. They even came with coil overs that im going to detail and put in.

Hey you missed the mirrors :P

Also, if you were going to cover up the rim with Tamiya gold, I think it may have helped if you covered the spokes even, because now the mismatched colours are clearly visible.

Also what I do to cover up uneven paint on the tail light is to run over the lamp's edge with a Gundam marker:

Ah, would've sworn the mirrors were body color. will put them in for sure. As for the gold in the wheels, it's noticeable only under direct light like the lightbox's. In real life it doesn't look that uneven. And I don't like the Gundam marker idea, the back line is too thick.

As for your 356, dude that is HOT. The stance is incredible and thewheels perfect. Nice paint too!

Nice paint too!

It's all in the polishing. I used a crummy flat black paint for this, but I did a lot of clear coats for I now have began using 2000 , 8000, 10000, 12000, and Tamiya's "Finish" stage polishing compound.

It's not the power of the paint that makes a paint stand out; it's how smooth you make the surface. Now that I have a polishing compound that can help tackle the finest scratches left by sandpaper, I can go the extra step after clear coating now.

If anyone has any old majorette formula one castings or matchbox ones I'd be interested in making an offer. Thinking about doing some classic and iconic formula one cars.

@Missfrost- I wouldn't worry about the badges tbh, it's up to you though but I've always "de-badged" my cars in real life and honestly if I got a Ferrari I would do the same tbh. They just look so much cleaner without badges but that's my opinion.

Not a Majorette, but I still have these that need a new home:

Ah, yeah. Brujo uses those for his car model kits and always comes home with a best paint award.

Yeah I've got a few of those matchbox ones like that but I don't like how out position the driver sits so I refuse to use them, I was hoping of anyone had slightly new design ones they released.

Best way to lower cars is to hack away at the interior. You'll notice underneath the interior that there's like plastic pieces that sit ontop of where the wheels are, trim that away to get desired height.

Someone's learning. 👍

Me? I always knew how to lower the cars, it's common sense once you have a look at it. I even un-pin the wheels and shave of the little knobs on the bottom of the chassis to make them sit even lower if it can be done. Heck even some of the muscle cars I've cut the entire rear seats out just to get those rear wheels under even more lol.

So I bought this bike the only thing is that I wanted it in red I don't know if they make it in red so I made it I am sorry if I'm not suposto post bikes I haven't seen any on so I took a gamble :)

This is my Ducati, the original color is red, but I added some details, I used to think that bikes had no opportunity, but this one opened my eyes.

The next level now is to make custom wheels for the bikes. Good luck with that
How do you even detach the wheels without breaking them? I've thought about doing one myself, but it looks like that may be a problem.

That's the one thing that ruins the hw bikes and that's there pizza cutter front wheel and steam roller rear. Of customs can be done and I am sure they could I would be interested, maybe I might spend se time having a look at this. Ohh and it should have been number 27 or 04 not 11 lol.

Its very easy, just insert a screwdriver or a sharped thing in the middle of the wheel and push hard, you will be able to get the axle off the wheel, to put the wheels on again just insert the axle back on its place.

Two years ago I submitted this progress photo:

Today, after sitting on my desk unmoved all this time, I've picked up the paintbrush and got busy:

It's all hand-painted. Testor's gold enamel, Tamiya flat black acrylic. Once all the text-less liveries are done, I will hit them with a clear coat, because by the gods that white I sprayed is an eye-sore.
