Hey guys! It's been a while since my last post here, mainly because I moved and I hadn't set up my custom workshop properly, but I'm back! I'll try to post more now that I have time and home and internet and everything.

This is a small sample of what I've been working on, a '41 Willys Coupé and a '68 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S. I liked how both of them turned out, mainly based on the fact that both of them are amongst the first projects that I nail at the first try. I see you guys have been very busy as well, great!

Dude that Barracuda is ON POINT. Love everything about it.

The willys is cool too in a mid-2000s billet rod-style thing.

Uh, welcome dude, feel welcome to post your work here, everybody is very nice and they're sharing tips and advice all the time.

Cano, thanks for the kind comments, the Plymouth is indeed already one of my favorite works, and to be honest I didn't knew what to do about the Willys at first, since it's a car I admit I don't know a lot about. I did some research and took inspiration for the custom from the various things I saw. It's hard to notice in these pics, but I also tested a Tamiya Pearlescent Clear on it, and the finish really gives the car a lot of personality when you see it in real life, and in fact, was kind of the point for the whole thing.

Sorry about the "double post" but it lags my phone up if I have to many pictures ready to load but this car had a lot of work done to it that can really be seen. Instead of being able to just hack of the bottom of the interior like I normally do to get the desired height, this one had the whole window section sitting on the interior so I had to cut abit then check cut abit then check. It was a tedious operation as I also removed the large rear wheels and added a regular size but that was where the issue was, if I cut to much away, the car would have a rear squatting look so I think I got it as perfect as possible, to sit even and still look lowered.

I had such good plans for this until I found out it can't sit any lower.

Any one know the history of these cars porsche 959 and th f40 :)
Have to lower the porsche
Ok this is as low as I can get the 959

Hi to everyone, I am trying to attemp my first custom on a HW Beetle Custom. I wish to swap tires with rubber ones, narrow front and bigger and larger rear.
Anyone can advise me where may I buy these tuned wheels? I found something on the Web; couple of wheels with axle but the are sold in three axles size: small, medium and large.
what is the lenght od these three kind of axles?

G'day and welcome, the length of the axle isn't the issue as you can make them whatever size you like, the issue your going to have just like all of us here and that's finding the "real riders" wheels, the rubber ones your talking about. If you do some more searching you may find the thread that had people making there own tyres and rims from resin moulds.

As I finally have the opportunity to sell off all the crappier hot wheels I no longer want, I decided to keep this '32 Deuce, but I definitely wanted to swap out the red 5SPs.

Which one of the two do you guys happen to like more?

Second set by far. Halibrand-style ftw.

I like the ones I used on my bug and the boss is right the hard part is finding the darn things I've only gotten 2 sets on this bug and on the gt40 I posted not to long ago

Those wheels really suit that car, well done!!

@AOS- the first set looks more rat rod style but that's my opinion, either way it's still a sick casting.

@kar120c - see the prices your paying for those things, that proves how hard they are to find. I've been doing this for a few years now and only once have I ever seen castings with real riders fitted and on a shelf and not wanting rediculous prices, only once. I brought about half a dozen and went back the next day to get the rest, nope, all gone. I can buy them already fitted to say a treasure hunt hotwheels but there like $20-$30 each oh that's here in Australia anyway. What you could do is look up some of those resin conversations and make moulds for those wheels so you can make multiple sets. There's even some people out there who have the craftsmanship to make there own custom moulds and replicate real rim designs from wheel known companies, some of the work is outstanding.

Well I got some white decal paper a while back and I finally decided to stop being lazy and get the decal applied to the Sierra. Now it is in it's "clear coating stage" and it will be done whenever the clear coat has fully dried. Should have the finished product up sometime this week! :)

It's a tomica, it's a LP500s but I
Noticed that it doesn't have the flared guards but has a rear wing and I noticed this after I painted it that an lp500 must have flared guards to have the wing otherwise the wing is removed if the guards arnt flared. So I had to strip it again and drill out the rear wing and fill holes to replicate the actual car so I've done that and just re-spraying now.

Alright, I know I said last week the Sierra would be up sometime, but their is a slight problem. I have a lot of pictures for it I plan to post and of course a lot to say about it since I love the casting. So, I will post it when we are on another page in this thread.

My custom "kaido house" fair lady z. Made a front splitter and made original tail lights to replace the 4 circles originally in the back.

That Porsche is nice and I really dig the F40. Is that F40 a Hot Wheels casting?
