Welcome to the discussion and show-and-tell, JNTHN. Nice to have you here . . . and looking forward to those pics.

A quick 'heads-up'. We have a unique and efficient methodology to posting at this site: we're very keen on good grammer, capitalisation of letters, whole words (instead of text-speak), etc, etc.
Take some time to read the Acceptable Use Policy, and follow it, and you will do very well here! 👍

Once, again, welcome, and look forward to some great posts. :)

Thanks Photonrider, and happy to be here. I'll see to it that i play by the rules here!! I'll post those pics i was talking about soon!

Wow, ok. No rush then. :P

hey R1600 Turbo, im curious, what deadline are you guys talking about, and is that open to the general public to enter? I'm new to this site and would like to be involved in such event! Thank's in advance! JNTHN

I'm using two other places to share my work, one of which has a huge audience.

I'm curious to know those sites if possible AOS....

Hobbytalk and HotWheelsCollector.

Also, please use the "edit" button in your post to add new content rather than making a new post. It's frowned upon here to do otherwise.

'Sup, guy. Welcome to this little universal time-waster, feel free to shoot all the questions you need answered.

I should really open a serious account over at HWC.

Whats going on Cano, thanks for the welcoming! Quick question, am I doing the responses right? AOS said to edit, not open a new one, again, don't wanna break the rules here!!!!

Welcome JNTHN, if you're the last to post use the edit button to add to the post or use the multi quote button if you want to quote multiple posts. And as mentioned grammar is one of our rules so when referring to yourself we expect to see I - not i.
Hope you enjoy GTPlanet. 👍

Hey everyone, hope all is well... I'm curious to ask this stupid question, hopefully I can get the answere im looking for.... "What would be the best way to upload a pic on this site"?? I only ask because iv'e noticed everyone's posting them thru insta-gram!!! Would that be the ideal way to upload?? Or can i just do it the normal way (uploading to my laptop and then adding it to the posting?? Thanks in advance!!

I was just messing around with my Testors Decal Maker software for really the first time and I found out that it is perfect for 1/64 scale cars.
I was worried that the graphics wouldn't scale down that small, but they did beautifully.
Look for some decals from me soon. :D

Tell me alittle about that program.

:0 really? Not even for just showing off? lol

Even I'm showing off. I'm trying to get more people reading my blog. I think I need to establish a facebook page for people to subscribe to.

I'm right now slashing away the chassis of the Nova wagon to make the rear tires fit. Man it's gonna be hard. Completed the custom interior today with a single low-back bucket, an aluminum panel quere the rear seat used to be, and a custom rollcage. Oh and a new steering wheel.

It's coming along, but it's requiring a lot more work than I at first imagined.

I just got hit with more work myself. All this time I've been product testing without the wheels installed and only now realized the wheels are going to get in the way of the keys. Suddenly I have more work to do, but luckily the whole project itself requires very little work. The idea required little work too. :)

To give you a very accurate impression without revealing it, it's not a "custom".

Yep, that's how "custom" it is.

Found some inspiration for your 240Z project. 👍

Just as i thought i'd decided, you go and show me this....
It looks real good in orange with colour coded arches, and black wheels, i'm seriously considering it. 👍

Don't think i'll be adding an intercooler (too much extra work for this one), but maybe on a future one. :)

Keeping the stock I-6 in these things and modifying it while keeping it N/A will result in about 250 hp with a fairly radical cam profile and carburetor tuning, barely streetable. The fact that this car is turbo means it probably pushes close to 300,
Steve Kiddell (from the UK), would not agree. His N/A 240Z pushes out nearly 300, about 100 bhp per litre (bored out, profiled cams, adjustable intake). It has to be one of the nicest Zeds in the UK, it also has a CF roof.

Great work on the Nova, Cano, and really looking forward to the M3. 👍
And what are you working on Andy? is it a key fob perhaps?

In other news... i finally managed to pick up an M3 (as well as a Celica, finally), i don't think i'll be entering the Lamley comp though, as i could only find the one, and don't really want to open it.

Because of all the work you have already put onto it.
Compared to what you've done, putting in an intercooler will be cake!

Oh okay, 👍
but trust me, it wouldn't. It would mean potentially destroying the front bib, as well as crafting a new bumper. In hindsight, i wish i had done an open aperture to begin with, and although i had plans for doing a 240Z custom, it kind of turned into a test run to working with the putty (prior to the RWB Porsche). I'm actually quite sick of looking at my unfinished Z just sitting there, but unfortunately, bad weather and poor time management has been against me somewhat. :indiff:

That is amazing. I want to learn how to fit and wire up lights myself.

Maybe then I can make the psycho lights I've wanted to do.

That guy is famous in the small custom universe, but around here he isn't as mentioned because e almost doesn't work with Hot Wheels, altough you can see some HW in some of those pics.

I had already seen some of his work, but several of those depicted ih the Sh article I had never seen. Also, the Shakotan Boogie scenes are cool. I so want to read that manga.

His work is out of this world, it looks like half of those cars came that way.

I very much want to try my hand at applying shakotan or even Kaido racer styles to not only a few typical JDM cars, but also some EDM or American cars as well.

What gives, the guy looks like a oldened bousouzoku, and 99% of the cars are bousouzoku/street racers. I'd love to see what he can do with other style customs!
