With 3d features...

A Thrustmaster 3-in-1 Rumble wheel, complete with a Mikomi Boxy TV (Standard Defintion, it's not even flat-screen ),.. a small wun, and I'm using some Philips earphones because my TV speakers don't have that much Bass for GT5 quality. Do I feel bad? NO! I have a TV, a PS3 and a wheel, so what else do I need? Oh, food, a loo and a bottle of Sprite <33

Man that is a very original equipment for playing gt5:tup:

Thanks!!
You 've been very helpful :) 👍

Get the G25, I promise you will not regret it. Oh, but I wouldn't recommend 8 or 9 on the FF-- more like level 5 unless you want a lot of horrible oscillation. Maybe they'll fix that in GT5 though..

Or get Fanatec wheels, you can set on the wheel the oscillation and make it disappear!

I'll stick w/ G25. It's GT's fault, not G25. They need deadzone adjustment in GT5, that's all. Plus G25's forcefeedback is very strong- even at level 5 in GT5p, there's plenty of FF.. and very little oscillation. Even set higher the oscillation is only really a problem if you totally let go of the steering wheel.

When I was using G25 in Prologue , I usually went with a 10 for the feetback. For drifting I would choose a 5 or bit lower even. For me the stronger feetback was more fun, and more race feel.

Most likely a 55" Toshiba LED with a decent 2.1 setup. Gonna stick with the DualShock3, although I wish I had a decent place to put a G27 wheel.

55" ????

either your room is pretty big or you really love to watch TV ;)

now I'm playing on a 32" inch LCD, but I've seen a Nice 40" sony LED screen on sale.

If I can confince my girlfriend I might get it today

I have a 55 1080p as well, but its in the living room, now I got a smaller 32 inch tv in the office room (because of 7.1 being there, as well I dont wanna clutter the living room) , so thers where I'll be playing. I got use to smaller screen fast, as long the screen is close to my wheel setup , no biggie.

My living room is about 5 meters wide so 55"would be way to big. :D
I think 40 would be perfect.

(for my girlfriend I'm using the energy saving from LED vs LCD as a reason to buy a new screen):sly:

[✓] 46" Samsung LCD
[✓] 5.1 System
[✓] Rennsport Wheel Stand
[✓] Logitech G27 (Just ordered the other day with the coupon)
[ ] GT5 CE (29 Days!)

Yeah just waiting for GT5!
Also nice setup!
that was a pretty decent coupon! I wonder how many wheels they sold with the coupon, GT planet should take some credit ;)

Also at Gejabo, why not buy 3D ready TV and tell us how GT5 runs ;)

Yeah it's really a 7.1 system, but I can only do 5.1 since my receiver has only 1 hdmi port.

I have a 7.1 but only with Optical, so in reality its a 5.1 with simulated 7.1, works on every game and it works fine. Each back speaker works like its a true 7.1.
I can't afford a expensive true HDMI 7.1 with audio box.

By the way , 1 hdmi port should be enough right?
or you mean it ONLY has 1 HDMI port just for TV?

yep. Im in the same boat as you.

7.1 is awesome though.. It's definitely worth it to upgrade. The PS3 takes full advantage.

I already bought this headset and I guarantee you that they work better than any audio system!and now I can play gt5 without disturbing my girlfriend.

32" HDTV
Controller/Steering Wheel
Berry Chair (lol, it's gaming chair that looks like a blue-berry cut in half I can post pictures if you want)

I will play it with my current setup : 40" samsung HDTV + 5.1 sound + Fanatec PWTS on a modified playseat rev 1 (I have it since GT4 + DFP then G25 !).

I hope they will correct the brain dead clutch management introduced in GT5P Spec III :ouch:

I'm cheap so
Apex 27" non flat tv 55$
Refurbished Lazy Boy recliner 10$
4 in 1 cordless Super Bass headphones 8$
Being able to relax with only the GT symphony to be heard
Priceless

GT5 CE
Fanatec GT3RS v2, Clubsport pedals, 6+1 H-shifter
Epson full HD projector
106" screen
Pioneer reciever, 5.1 setup
Home made stand w/ Nissan R33 GTR-seat.

Ah yes, and a PS3 ;)

On my 24inch 1080p monitor, with the dfgt. I have a 7.1 onkyo surround. receiver doesnt take HDMI audio though, so have to do 5.1 on the optical. Itll still be fantastic

G27 on a Playseats (recommended), on a 1080p 46" Sony hdtv with hdmi cable....great set up, I highly recommend the G27 and Playseats cockpit. See ya'll on the track!!

Controller on a 60" Sony. I have the G25 wheel but it was my first wheel, and discovered after using it for a while I like just using the analog stick more, so I may sell it to a friend of mine. Not to mention the fact that its annoying having to set that thing up every time I want to get a few races in, and my girlfriend thinks im a king dweeb since I bought it, so I need to get rid of it.

Buy or make a wheelstand so that you can stick your setup somewhere else and setting up wouldn't be a pain in the 🤬 all you'll do is plug it in.

About the G25, hold onto it, get used to it, play many laps of GT5P with it, preferably Fuji, alot of laps, get used to turning, I did that, it is a much better experience and you get quicker lap times.

32" 1080p and a DS3, with 5.1 surround sound and my PSEye for head tracking.

I don't want to waste money on a wheel because it doesn't make it any more realistic for me.
