Did pd slightly alter the crb for this race?Out of 10 races ive only got the crb once,prior to the update it was almost every time.

I get the CRB 90% of races. I think any bump against the barrier or another car that is above certain level of intensity will forbid the CBR.

I've hit the barriers very hard a couple of times and not lost the CRB due to that (with the exception of the time I hit the barrier so hard I bounced off and hit a car as well ) - crossing the yellow lines on the left and any contact whatsoever with an AI car, however, appears to cost me the CRB.

Doh! It was down to me,I use motion steering with it propped up on a cd case and a folded playing card to steer towards the barrier.For whatever reason it wasnt steering towards the barrier quite enough and when passing the tommys it would bounce ever so slightly into one of the cars.Propped it up a little more and all is back to normal CRB.

I’ve bought a bunch of the Jags and now the McLaren F1 to resell once this is patched. I’ve been letting the script do it’s thing while I sleep at night, then during the day I do the daily races or circuit experience. I have acquired over 700,000,000 credits so far, hoping I can reach a billion!

It's insane to me to read that some of you here are leaving the script overnight to farm for credits.

From my experience with Remote Play and the earlier Pan Am script, lag would desync the script very often, and I'd have to keep an eye out on things to reset the whole thing should it desync. Both my PS5 and PC are on wired connections, with 275mbps upload and 700mbps download. I'm told that's really good. I certainly don't have trouble streaming YouTube videos at 1440p, and Remote Play only does 720p.

Granted, Chiaki is a lot better than the hot garbage that is Remote Play, but I've still had trouble with desyncs. I'm running Chiaki at 360p 30FPS—the lowest setting I believe. Am I doing something wrong here? Any tips and tricks?

Must be something wrong, I've played a lot with remote play, with much worse connections and it was fine.

Are you suggesting that the Cr. made with this glitch will be lost when the glitch is patched? I doubt that will happen...

Even though this glitch does pay out a lot more than the game has previously, it still takes 5 solid hours of grinding just to be able to buy one Ferrari 330 P4 - and that's a whole normal week's gaming time for me. I would not take kindly at all to losing any Cr. gained this week - at the end of the day, it's PD's responsibility to ensure their game works properly, not ours.

Incidentally, I had my first definite collision with another car at Daytona without it costing me the CRB... a light side swipe against a Tomahawk, but it was hard enough to deflect my car quite noticably, and I was sure I'd lost the CRB, but fortunately it didn't.

Ok I seem to have worked it out.

On the Abarth I still had a bumper and spoiler, and forgot to change the nitrous output down to 15.

With the Tomahawk I didn't get the gearbox tuning correct.

Now during this test I'm currently 10 laps in and only 8 seconds in front so no need to worry about lapping them.

Edit - worked perfectly. Winning by 4 seconds makes it so much easier.

You buy the extra cars so you can get the credit back up to 100m, to be able to buy more cars, which when the glitch is patched you have an easy supply of credits available by just selling the duplicates.

I don't use Chiaki - never even looked at it.

I use version 5.5 of PSRemotePlay and PS4Macro with reWASD to emulate my PS5 controller to PS4. v5.5 of PSRemotePlay, if you do not update it, will only use your home network and not the internet and so I have a stable 1Gbps ethernet connection. Never de-syncs.

I'm missing 36 legend cars that totals 170,000,000 plus 6 invite cars totalling 9,000,000. With 100,000,000 in the bank I need 79,000,000 to cover my still to get. So every time I hit 100M I buy a McLaren. But I'm hopping we'll get a 20,000,000 or two soon

Don't forget that it is not just the purchase price but the resale value as well to minimize net loss. There is 20m cr car in the LCD but it has terrible resale so not a good buy. The Mclaren "only" loses 1/3rd it value so is a reasonable buy.

More to the point, buying cars that will go up in value in the future - anything with a blue up arrow - may wipe out losses. Cars seem to be capped at 20m, so buying a car nearer to 20m even going up in value (like the McLaren) won't necessarily wipe out the loss but something lower with plenty of headroom to go and increasing in value like the 250 GT might turn a profit down the line...

I purchased all of the used cars and Brand Central that I didn't have but wanted for custom races and 4 more F1 GTRs but not for reselling but rather custom races, though I may still purchase 2 more for reselling purposes. Still haven't purchased the Cobra Daytona but may once I hit $50,000,000 again as i'm currently at $30,000,000 and plan to get to $100,000,000. I may also purchase a few of the MP4/4's for custom races aswell.

the Volkswagen is actually faster than the Abarth -- i'm running about 37 seconds per lap in it.

In afk scrips my beetle is averaging around 53s per lap because of the wall drag. That said it is 100% reliable over the sllightly faster Abarth, but that is not reliable at all. So I will take a 1 minute hit over 7 laps for total 100% hand-free reliability.

51 to low 52 with my Cappuccino if I set the tension right on the left stick. I should tweak the tommies so they are faster, to pass them less often. 90% of time they give space, but sometimes they pass each other at a bad timing and I lose CRB

Gave up on the script, Chiaki would crash after 2 1/2 races. Easier to just use the rubber bands while I'm at home.

The Beetle 0:39 per lap with this setup. You only have to overtake Tomahawks once. Top speed is above 380 km/h and it sticks well in the turns.

This is what I've been using, though I got it down to 0:37 per lap with some minor tweaks (5:41 total, 94k per minute).
If anyone smarter than me could find a way to automate it, it would be awesome.

Needed two F1 GTRs for my late 90's/early 2000's JGTC grid, but only had around 14,000,000 credits two days ago. Then, a friend recommended me this setup. Since the Abarth wasn't available, I went with the next best thing, this being the VW 1200.

Put it against X2019s at first, then got myself a Tomahawk X and switched it in. I've used various distances, anything between 8 to 40 laps. The fewer laps, the fewer times I get in danger to lap the Tomahawks. 16 laps go on for about 12 minutes and reward almost 1,000,000 credits, so can basically be done five times an hour.

Needless to say, I got the 30,000,000 credits last night... AND the two F1 GTRs.

I couldn't let the McLaren F1 GTR go past while I had over 30M in the bank for the first time ever, so I decided to buy it and get myself back up to 20M for the Ferrari 330 P4 when it comes back into the LCD, hopefully early next month.

At 15,000,000 Cr., the McLaren is the most expensive car I've bought in the game so far.
