How I USED to make 5,000,000 credits/hour through Custom Races... using a Fiat. But not anymore.

hop they dont nerf the custom races payouts
I don't see why they would. The spec two went about increasing it, they're not going to then revert this philosophy.

What they will sort is the car's actual pp bug that is being exploited here in determining the race's base value (which causes the over-inflated prize fund) which was in the issues log.

What's also interesting/unknown is whether they will then re-include transmission/suspension tuning et al into pp calculations - which wasn't specifically mentioned

Now that I don't really have to grind, I can focus on:

Sophy singleplayer races
Online Dailies/Series races
Golding all Licenses
Golding all Missions

You know, the fun stuff. No more running the same spa/sarthe/sardegna race where you're lapping the field twice. Second best update for me aside from the PSVR2 one that was my whole reason for picking the game up for this alone. It gave me things to do and freed me to do them with the custom race glitch.

Maintenance notice is up for tomorrow November 21... I imagine this means little Abby is about to be retired!! Hope everyone got the credits they need!
My reaction to that information:

One last grind I guess

Well then, let's get a few last grinds in then 😪

The " nerf " is on the way to next update and it's official, so , take advantage as it last cause we're not gonna see it again.
Hopefully, many new ( short of) players grab the chance and bought many cars that was expensive.
Others ( me also ) did swap cars which are also expensive etc.etc.

We know it will be patched, but we don't know if it's gonna be in next update.

So we are getting a nerf, I'm wondering if can we just use an S13 with some light mods to get a similar payout we will have to wait and see, or just give us a high-paying race's for each track this would be much more FUN

Am " dead " sure that is gonna be on next update.
What the outcome will be ?
I don't know ( as everyone i guess) .
All " money " glitch till now they patched with the one or the other way .
They will find the way to make it unprofitable or not doable.
After all , all good things in life , never last long 😂

Well i think they are on to "us" Just got in from work fired up gt7 to do the rubber band motion steering daytona wall ride cash grab, and i have no engine sound and no picture apart from the dials and screen info, luckily i can set this up without looking so let it run, and i won without even seeing a thing..hahaha...Just recorded the last bit to finish line

Can anyone recommend a car to use for those of us under the 50 collector level that can't do engine swaps?

I set up everything as in the guide (the only difference being the improved rigidity, as I installed it before and there is no way of reverting it), but the times are around 52 secs instead of 48 and it hits the cars and goes out of bounds, resulting in spinning in the grass and not being able to finish the race. are there any ways to tweak the script/car?
Auto gearbox?

I think it's tomorrow too. But it lasted for about 3 weeks, I think it was more than enough to grind. And they're not gonna remove the 400% bonus so I guess we will find another way

As requested, here's my Beetle tune.

I'm doing about 37.5 seconds per lap. No wall riding, no letting off the throttle/nitrous. It's easy to drive and takes the turns pretty clean. Shouldn't ever hit the wall.

Tops out around 388kph, comes out of each turn between 370kph and 380kph.

Yes, you are reading that right, rear height at 205. Try it. The car is very stable. But if you want the cornering to be even smoother, kick the front ride height from 161 up to about 163 or 164. I knocked it down to 161 to get just a tiny bit more top end, but it also adds a very slight hitch to the cornering at max speed that might not be worth it. Your call.

I'm using wide body and wide-set 14" tires.

No wing.

TCS 0

Transmission setup doesn't matter much since you'll be in 5th the entire time, keeping the car between 365 and 388 the whole race.

For the AI: I have their max speed set to about 305kph, with minimum distance at rolling start. I find setting them up in a big clump and making it so I lap them just once makes it easiest to get around them. Any faster, and they're next to me long enough to bump me, and any slower, and they become frequent obstacles. Your mileage may vary on that aspect.

Thank you Cappuccino, you've been pushed all day long since a week (9 days of grind more or less), and brought me more Cr. than I've ever got since day one (I have not been playing everyday since, at least 2 times a 6 months hiatus).

I finish the evening with more than 80M Cr. having bought some nice cars along the way (plus some to sell later on when needed).

Game economy is no longer an issue. Just fun from now on.

Just saw the notice that this is coming to an end tonight. I never got round to getting this working on by GB account, but I just switched the grind on again for my US account. Figured I should get another bunch of credits before the easy money is gone..

This has been a breath of fresh air for the game. Along with many others who have posted here, GT7 just became all about fun for me - I refused to take part in any of the monthly added races untill they fixed he economy. On the rare occasions I played the game, it was only to do a time trial or race at sardegna for cash, so I have nearly a years worth of additional races untouched. I had never gone past 48mill, even with the old tomahawk exploit and the menu book glitch. But now, I have enough bank for the three unacquired 20mill Legendary cars on my list (when they show up) and for general car upgrades, engine swaps, etc.. which means i can now just play all my attempted races with fun as the primary goal, and focus on good racing, with it being ok not to win and ok to repeat races because time fir money is no longer an issue.

Yes, the game still needs improvement in terms of structure and events but it is much closer now to where it should have been (for the fortunate among us who have filled up their coffers and improved their car lists). I even took the opportunity to buy multiples of cars, add liveries and set up some custom races for 2008 JGTC (Super GT) and 1986 F1 fields. plus I brought a second set of hypercars and fully modified to the max (my first round of hypercar purchase in game last year where kept unmodified) - this is what I call fun stuff, when you take money out of the game and let it be enjoyed!

I don't think PD will nerf the CR bonus. They tried to buy goodwill with the 2.0 Update and if they implemented a lazy fix, the backlash could be damaging (remember the early days of the game). I do think (hope) that they will adjust the PP algorithm to actually use the correct PP for the car's entered. This hopefully would also translate to Sophy being more nible in response to you bringing tuned cars against it. Whether or not they re-introduce suspension, transmission into PP calc's will be an interesting reveal.

I did 2x Daytona with Abarth Simpson and both times I hit an AI car - first time I just cut it too fine and got side-swiped as I tried to pass at full speed; second time, it was a rare example of the AI blocking the outermost line i.e. right up against the wall, so there was no way to pass, and I hit the rear of the AI car pretty hard... which is why I was shocked to still get the CRB for this one.

It depends on whether the fix is just on the engine-swapped cars (in which case, this becomes a ~1.8 million Cr./hour venture that is open to a lot more cars in the garage, still equivalent to the Tokyo/Sardegna grind) or if transmission/suspension PP adjustments (which really allow this venture to work at all) are also coming back. I will note that the warning to complete championships because of potential PP changes is not part of this notice, though it was also missing from the one that preceded the 1.31 PP changes.

The thing is I’m at that point where I grinded to get all the cars, I’ve taken advantage of every glitch in this game and this last one was the fastest money producing ones out of all of them.

It will be missed.

Funny thing is I bought every single car in all the dealers except three that are locked behind the ticket/invite from Bugatti and Ferrari 🤣🤣 I’m grinding one last time to top off the 100 million for the next 3 years worth of vehicles 😍

Well unfortunately with my long hiatus I am still missing many expensive LCD cars but I have done the grind and bought every car in Brand Central and took some stock in the MP4/4 and Valkerie to sell later down the line. Gonna continue the AFK grind until the last moments so have the most money I can get my hands on.
