This has been a breath of fresh air for the game. Along with many others who have posted here, GT7 just became all about fun for me - I refused to take part in any of the monthly added races untill they fixed he economy. On the rare occasions I played the game, it was only to do a time trial or race at sardegna for cash, so I have nearly a years worth of additional races untouched. I had never gone past 48mill, even with the old tomahawk exploit and the menu book glitch. But now, I have enough bank for the three unacquired 20mill Legendary cars on my list (when they show up) and for general car upgrades, engine swaps, etc.. which means i can now just play all my attempted races with fun as the primary goal, and focus on good racing, with it being ok not to win and ok to repeat races because time fir money is no longer an issue.
Yes, the game still needs improvement in terms of structure and events but it is much closer now to where it should have been (for the fortunate among us who have filled up their coffers and improved their car lists). I even took the opportunity to buy multiples of cars, add liveries and set up some custom races for 2008 JGTC (Super GT) and 1986 F1 fields. plus I brought a second set of hypercars and fully modified to the max (my first round of hypercar purchase in game last year where kept unmodified) - this is what I call fun stuff, when you take money out of the game and let it be enjoyed!
I don't think PD will nerf the CR bonus. They tried to buy goodwill with the 2.0 Update and if they implemented a lazy fix, the backlash could be damaging (remember the early days of the game). I do think (hope) that they will adjust the PP algorithm to actually use the correct PP for the car's entered. This hopefully would also translate to Sophy being more nible in response to you bringing tuned cars against it. Whether or not they re-introduce suspension, transmission into PP calc's will be an interesting reveal.
