I'm 15 and I've been playing since GT1. I got interested into this game since my older brother was playing on the PS1. I still own GT1 and GT2 but don't own GT3 and GT4 because I sold them :ouch:. Playing GT5 now and gotten the YLOD on my fat PS3 :grumpy: but managed to save my saved data and got a new PS3 slim :D

16 Been playing since Gran Turismo 2 was released and what a game that was. probably the best Gran Turismo although then again Gran Turismo 4. Yeah i remember the days whole family used to play it and we would all have our own cars. I would have the Monstrous TVR Speed 12. My dad in the Escudo Pikes peak, Mum would have the fully tuned Corvette Stingray with Racing Modifications. Then Gran Turismo 3 came out and my younger brother got involved the Gran Turismo 4 which is the game that has taken up the most time of my life. Epic races with cousins,My Dad,Brother ,Uncles. That was the ultimate family game. GT5 prolougue came out which i was bowled over with i mean in car views, High Detail and what became my Favourite car the Citroen GT. What a machine i was fortunate enough to go to Goodwood and heard its montrous V8 engine rumbling. Sounded like the Stock Cars(Nascar) that race up the hill. The Gran Turismo 5 came out which i feel had difficult birth being tht it has been delayed so long. although me and my friends do top gear challenges and not to mention Stockcar racing at Circuit de la Sarthe at night (Tried the Nurburgring but its so pitch black that you cant see anything). Good game but not the best in the series.

I`m 25, I`ve been playing Gt since GT1. I played GT2 so much till the disc stop working or maybe it was my ps1 lol... actually it is my favourite game lol.

I'm 27. I played 1 and 2 on a friends Playstation. (never owned the origional) I bought the PS2 with GT3, picked up 4 at release, and the wife, uh ehhemm "Santa", brought me 5 for Christmas. Love the series! Always good for a go when I have some free time.

Now I am passing my passion along to the next generation. I am teaching my four year old daughter how to drive on my G25. I let her pick a car just for her. Now I have a RM '69 Camero........well, she likes 'em loud!

I'm 21 and I've been playing GT since 1998. That summer my friend and I spent so much time racing just trying to save credits to buy the Castrol Supra! :) I moved onto GT2, GT3, GT4 and now GT5.

I'm 33 and have been hooked since I tried a japanese version of GT1 at a friends place. We had no idea what the parts in the tuning shop were, but they looked great so we bought them, hehe. I've played all the games in the series and finally treated myself with a proper wheel (G27) for GT5. :)

im 23 and i've been playing GT since 1,2,3,4 and now 5. i started playing when my mom had to take me with her to work. used to sit in the conference room and play all day. and i actually still have all of the discs! :D

Been playing since gt2 excellent game series no longer a toy but a serious bit of software once you have he hardware to get the realism from the software. I am 30 and still feel as young as when I first played gt2

I'm 41 and GT5 is the first GT I've played since the original one came out on the PS1. So maybe I appreciate how it has evolved and progressed more than people who have played all the versions in-between. Whilst I appreciate GT series has plenty of flaws, it still has the indefinable something that makes it stand-out head'n'shoulders above the competition.

28 years, played since GT1, had to buy a new PS1, because GT1&2 wrecked my first PS hehe

Owned all the games, finished them all, and still have the Black Polyphony FGT on a memorycard 👍

Damn there's some serious vets in here. I'm 22 and only started playing GT last year. Got GT4 for car nut roommate, and was hooked. Went on to get prologue, and of course GT5.

32, been hooked since playing the Japanese import version when it first came out - I remember spending literally the whole of the first couple of days in bed playing it non-stop... I was a student :) (those were the days...)

36, playing since GT2, then GT3, GT Concept 2002, GT4 Prolog, GT4, GT5 Prolog and finally GT5.

Best part is when you start to buy cars in real life, you always wanted to have since GT2. I couldn´t afford until a few years ago.

My Cerbera might just be a product of GT2 back then. (Have a Tuscan as well and used to have several other serious TVRs.)

Good to compare them with their game counterparts now.

Björn.

I'm 42 and I've been playing since GT1 on the original PS. I can't remember what year that was. Played every game in the series except GT4.

My wife keeps wondering why I'm playing "kids'" games.

Just wondering how old everyone is here and how long you have been playing GT. I am 27 and have been playing the GT series since 1998, and have owned all the GT games.

I was allot better back then, through GT1 -2 and 3, and probably could show a few of the best on this board a thing or too. I am not as good now, just getting back into my stride. I remeMber with my friends, beers and wacky backy, thumping music, and countless racers and endless lap time sessions lasting all night and till the next morning.

Do not get as much time now, maybe a few hours here and there.

Anyway, I hope there are some other old fogies like me?

I've been playing GT since the first one came out. That one hooked me and haven't been able to stop the addiction yet. Oh and I'm 39.....

38yrs old, been playing since original GT on PS1. Still have my GT edition PS2 and GT3, GT4, GT5p, and GT5 for PS3. I sold my original PS1 and GT1 and GT2 at a pawn shop ages ago. I should have held onto them.

I'll get every edition of GT in the future until I'm too old to sit in my rig and drive.

I am 45 and have played since day one of GT1, my son is five and he started playing last week.

... and he was pissed when I wouldn't let him drive anything faster than a 60's Mini Cooper. Its been fun teaching him the basics of driving and racing. Trying at times, but fun. This should be a good primer for when he starts karting in a year or so.

I'm 29 and started playing GT2 sometime around 1999-2000ish. I didn't do much on GT3 because I was in a Nascar game vortex at the time (even though EA's Nascar games were junk). I picked back up for GT4 which pretty much sent me head first into a racing addiction that I still can't tame...

I'm 13 and have been playing since I was 3. I started out with GT2. I learned more maths and English playing that game than primary school taught me in 3 years. I read all the car infos and because of that I had a 15 year old reading ability at the age of 5. I then started collecting all of the GT games. I have had every one in the series.

21 years old, been playin gt since GT2. :)

Was the first game we got on the ps1 we got for christmas.. even got the parents into it which is a rare feat since my parents are basically anti-video games. Even today my dad and mom still love racing split screen.. but they wont come near any other game lol :D

I just have to "accidentally" take some turns really bad so Dad can make it a race
