31 and since the beginning.
Part of me still yearns for the days of GT2, when I was still a student and could afford to do nothing but play games all day.
I got kinda bored playing against the computer and had done everything, so I became a Gran Turismo 'pusher' - because nobody I knew was really that good at driving I had to coach them how to drive so that I could get a decent race.
I would start them off easy with front wheel drive, move onto 4WD, then FR, then MR - aided by my 4 memory cards organised into Road, Race, Rally and Classic garages. These were then subdivided into small hatchback, large hatchback, small coupe, medium, large, sportscars etc. and within each category all of the cars were tested for the 1/4 mile and top speed to make sure that they were all evenly matched for acceleration and top speed, so that way the only real difference was the handling and the driver.
This meant that any two cars from the same category could be raced fairly against each other. It took a long long time to sort out, and if I'd put my time to better use I probably could have been rich by now, but hey . . . you're only young once.
The only category that wasn't tuned to be even was was the 'standard cars' category, where you had bog standard straight from the dealer cars to race against each other, such as an Impreza 22B vs a Cerbera or something.
I loved that game
*sighs*
