Those inlays are looking killer. Is it actually chipped where the inlays go in or is that just the way the pic looks? The top of this pic looks like a chip is out where the inlay goes.

Pete SkjoldNow that they are radiused and hand trued to a polish they have been fretted . Next they will have the rough shaping done to the neck and the all the hand shaping and sanding . once that is done then they move to the finishing steps along with the bodies . There is still much work to be done on each and everyone of these basses . After the finish is applied on the head stock and heel the basic fret work can take place . Then there is all the assembly too . Things should move pretty quickly in terms of the visuals .
That would be both cruel and a compliment at the same time - the guy who is constantly surrounded by sweet bass' likes yours enough to not want to let it go.Maybe he's got my bass done already and has been secretly playing it in the back room.....
I'm guessing that's not the case anymore. Let the pain return!The wait has been painful. The first couple months were the worst, but I'm getting used to it and all our summer gigs that I wish I had the bass for are over now.
