As much as I'd love to move on to Monza straight away, I could use the extra practice :sly:

You were fast in qualy p4 I wanted that spot 1 33 8 is a good time you ran there .

33 9 is my best and I only managed a 34 1 in qualy with my race setup

I was super surprised by my qualy pace on the softs. IIRC I did 4 laps that were 1:34.0xx through 1:34.4xx so I was even happier to see I didn't fluke that lap.

Although I'm sure you would have beat me on race pace.

i did pretty well in qually breaking my own record.. i did a 1.33.502 or 509 dont remember..

i was faster in sector 1 by 1/2xx but messed up couple times on the 3rd...

I figured out that engine rebuild limit my engine, I never thought of it that way.I usually does a engine rebuild every 1000km and my car is at 2000km now so my second rebuild. I'm faster now after the race yesterday and I haven't even done a oil change after the race. The BHP stays at 518, but half way through the race yesterday the engine sound changed, also I could really feel it was faster. It sounded more "angry" if you guys know what I mean ;)

haha, i did a engine rebuild too.. my turbo was making a very weird noise as is it was broken or something.. its ok again though

Pro I do think you would have won the race , especially since you started on soft.

Your medium times were also faster than everyone else.

i started on mediums i was going to start on softs but i changed my strategy

Isn't there a chance we have less lag if you make it NAT1?
Problem is that I have my Fiber box in another room than my router, So I can't just plug my cable into the Fiber box instead of the router. I could try it, but only different really is my ps3's IP, I put my PS3 on DMZ meaning every port is open on my ps3.
Problem always seem to happen when new people join our races, I really think we need to look elsewhere than the host on this one, but I can always try, I just need a 15-20meter TP cable to have through my house.

It can be done wireless too i think.

No, if you go wireless you would need a wireless router, then you can't get the internet IP. And really everyone should be on a cable. I do know wireless is really good, but it still only is sound waves and those can be disturbed even from your cellphone. A isolated cable is way better in every way. On my laptop I can only get 20-30mbit download and upload, on my wired computer I get 60-70mbit.. So even speed is limited.. And yes my laptop should be able to do 56mbit if I just check the specs of wireless network card.
Also the wireless type of the ps3 is 802.11g and not the newer 802.11n.

I am seriously offended by the fact that I am said to be the source of lag, I know my internet is not brilliant but that just isn't fair I did see lag on my screen during the races aswell so its not just me.

We just see that you are jumping throughout our screen, it's just a speculation :)

Sorry to hear that mate. I could see everyone was lagging, but I still can see what part of track they are on. You are skipping frames and it is sometimes impossible to predict were you are. It's still is like anastasis put it, a speculation. But it's not taken out of thin air..

I don't see falcon skipping around as i raced with him last night he was going forward backwards sometimes but it was OK.. I see this problem by pd for not being carefull with the update..

I believe the main problem is PD, yes. But when i am close to falcon, I just see him ALWAYS doing jumps of 100meters in every single direction(also in good races). I noticed it at Fuji, i did notice it previous race and the races before that. It doesn't help our problem here.

Hey guys, us guys as FGTC had a race tonight at Daytona RC and it wasn't as bad as Monza.

However, 4 people lost connection during the race. There were cars flying all over the place on the first and second corner due to 'lag' whereas, before the patch the start of the races were perfect. Also the first five laps were very laggy and people were doing 3-4 seconds off the pace. The host was doing 3-4 seconds better pace. But after 10 laps and 4 disconnections, there were only 11 racers and this was fine.

I reckon people will start doing to divisions of 10-12 racers instead of full 16 player lobbys. Well I think thats what we'll have to do next season, unless they sort it out.

i think mailing them will put more pressure on them to get this fixed asap..

Lets do it. Let us copy the email, lets every championship driver in this forum send the email. It can't hurt.
Then we have at least send 200 emails.

I see Midnightclub championship is getting cancelled and I'm sitting online on a place where they sell computer parts and looking on how expensive there would be to build myself a gaming pc to start race from a pc instead. PD really messed it up now. I can send a pre written email, but lagging around isn't racing and in 2012 it isn't gaming.. back in 1999 it was and I could live with it.. not now!

I do feel this is a pretty big blunder by PD and that it will be fixed pretty soon, but I really don't see why go on until it is fixed. It will just not be fair to anyone when it comes down to luck who wins, and not racing.

I say we hit pause (like when PSN went down) Because racing online now is like masturbate with a cheese slicer!

How do you know, you didn't try it do you?:scared:

Anyway no problem to pause this league. But i am afraid people forget this league after some time. So i suggest we do Pre-season & test races? In that way we can monitor GT5's online status, do some tests of who's causes lag, and maybe have some nice & fun test races?

Of course we can race for fun and keep track of what PD is doing to the online part of the game. Now it just feel pretty much destroyed.

And I will never forget this championship, so many nice people ;)

I'm content to extend the pre-season rather than mess around with trying to get league races out of a terrible patch.

I believe PD are planning to release a new patch in the latter half of January anyway with DLC following sometime in February, so hopefully either of those two patches will fix the issues we're having.

Even when I don't feel like playing GT5 at all, it's the people that bring me back to practising and racing.

if someones good in writing a piece of the mail in good english so at least the good grammar & professionalism of the mail stands out i bet all the league drivers will give it a go do make them do this asap..

anyone who can write an email not too long.. ??

Please guys don't make me cry
