On the PC we have blue screen from hell, in gt5 we have black screen from hell! bummer

I cleaned my game disc the other day, it's been inside the PS3 since I tested F2011 and it was dusty. I might have to try clean the drive as well. If the disc is dusty, I assume the l lens could be just as dusty.
Not a fix, but I do try to keep my ps3 clean

I'm recording some more replays right now as I'm typing this. Arkano and Erik, do you still want the videos for season 2 at this time with season 3 about to start?

For me the videos from s2 isn't really needed so save yourself from the extra work. I would much more like videos from s3 when we get started.

If you like I would very much like a best of video of s2, so if you could edit it down to a short 10-15 minutes video of different races it would be awesome. But 12 videos of 1 hour isn't really that interesting for me at this point.

Yes i Agree with Erik.. I think having the full match uploaded isn' t really spectacular.. we should have Highlights of the race.. 10 minutes would be enough.. and it would make people watch it too.. people won't come and watch 1 hour of racing..

btw how do i deleted my cache ?? will i lose information or some stuff.. ?? i'm not familiar with this..

No, you got only to earn from this operation .
Go to options, then jump to the lowest tab shown, i think its called utility or network. You got to press the first option from the left , and the upper circle of the 2 called clear cache or something is the one you need

I don't know how its pronounced on the english version. But i think you have the dutch language on your game if i am correct.

GT-Modus > Opties > bij Overige: Online-opties > tijdelijke gegevens verwijderen.

If you never done this before it can take a while. (maybe)

I suggest Laguna Seca as it is one of the track long down on the list, we did Rome and Cape Ring and I'm not really in the mood for a endurance race at Nurburgring 24h if we use a lot of time to sort out the lag

I would prefer not to do the nurburgring either but the idea of a soft "stint" there sounds quite funny

Kinda like to try out Trial Mountain. But everything is fine by me. If we experience the same thing we had on Fuji, we can test diffrent tracks if the lag is the same...

I was thinking why, and the only thing that came to mind is that the game need to save/make a bigger replay. And the game makes for everyone a replay. instead of making 1 replay for everyone. you know what i mean... ?

I been thinking about the same thing. And after spec 2 the replay files have been smaller. All the information is there so that means they use some sort of compression. Could be this is actually make the PS3 possessor to try to much at the same time. Lag feels more like a frames pr second loss than internet lag so I wouldn't be surprised.

Maxi you brought up quite a good point why don't we have bad frames lag with low laps but with high laps we have the issue , man this game is crazy.

I'm n for Trial Mountain too! its a nice track..

I would love to do Trial Mountain, 45 laps it is. Just a warning, tyre wear is cruel there, and if we get 14 players it will be pretty much cars all over the track! will be fun I guess.

Reading that having a Bluetooth mic on could increase the lag for you, could explain why Arkano and Netherdragon had the worst lag on our lag party at Fuji. My headset is USB based and transmit wireless through a external box. Could be the reason I didn't lag _that_ bad.

I have a keyboard on Bluetooth and I will remove it from my ps3 just before the race to try avoid lag.
