Well I also added this account so when changing from a private lounge to a open lobby we aren't going from my lounge to my lounge. I have no idea how GT5 is running this, but I never have problems when just hosting a room public, but when doing it just after we warmed up in my lounge it seems to be problematic.

Feel free to warm up in any lounges for this weekends race, I know I be doing so in another one than my own. Race will be in my lounge witch will open up 8:50pm UTC

Also if we get problem I could set this account up as a "dedicated" host so no playstation that have a car on track need to handle more data than anyone else.

PM's I get when I'm not in front of my PS3 can be missed, If I sits in front of my PS3 and see I get a message I read it, but when being downstairs to take a cigarette or something else I don't check if I got a PM when I get back in front of my wheel. It's not really my chat program :scared:

Just turning on the ps3 and looking for someone to practice with , so if anyone is online send me a msg on psn

Ok ill be on in about half and hour

Online someone just msg me when they're ready

You can put me down as a driver (or reserve if full) and I'll use the Takata Dome NSX if it's not taken. I think I'll try out season 3 again after missing season 2. :) I probably won't be able to take part in every race though but I think I can make most. ;)

Edit: Forget to mention I use the DFGT ;)

When we split the group whit 8 or 9 drivers and some drivers can't make it we gonna do races whit only 6 drivers or so. its not that much. I am afraid for this scenario.

Yea I agree he has a point there.

I'll send out FR's so I can join you guys practice room (Pro Persian)

Edit: Good Job Erik on the ICGTC room! If we practice in there this will allow us to experience only 1 type of physics for race day which will help level out the playing field. I'm tried of putting in countless hours of practice in my room just to go into someone else room and have my car behave way looser than what I trained for in my practice room because the physics are different. I'm sure everyone has experienced this?

I just done some laps on Fuji F and my current best at the moment with Medium tyres is a 1:36.120. Is that a good time on mediums? Also approximately how many laps does everyones medium tyre last?
I'm still trying to get used to the new updated spec 2 physics :P

Hello Joey and welcome back, I will add you to the list tomorrow or at least some time soon, 1:36 is a decent time around Fuji, but its people here that can manage better. I can go 12 laps on mediums, but it do require you drive a bit careful to save your tyres a bit. Full speed is 9-10, but the last two laps are slower then the last two laps when "saving tyres"

Remember you are free to qualify on soft and start the race on mediums, we go back into the lobby before race start. This might be something you HAVE to do if it start rain (on the tracks that's possible)

I'm glad to see you are back, but if you read our thread you might have read something about a online bug and it might prove hard to give you a place on the grid. But I will do my best to make this work, but at this point I cant promise anything.

Read up on our new rules, most important new rules this season is staged entry and race start changes

This have to be because you set the room up differently, our default settings for practice lobby is Race Quality high and chat low
Race lobby we turn off chat, as it doesn't seem to matter anything when doing free runs, but more when race actually starts.
I know high is one higher than default in private lounges, but as we race in public rooms high is default.

This is something we might have to change to make things work, but for now it stays on high.

36 1 is a good time on the medium tire . I am doing similar times with a 35 8 my best with this conservative setup . My tires last 10 laps at this pace falling into the 1 40's on my final lap of the stint .

Nope, but i feel usual a diffrence in race...

On medium my best whit a full tank is a 35.0, i don't think i hit that in race. my racepace are 1.36's... so its a decent time i guess. My tyres last 8 up to 14 laps, depends on my driving.

35 0 maxi on medium , wow I don't even think Immortal has done a time like that .

I know propersian has ran 35 2 and my best is a 35 3

35 0 is impressive maxi I am hoping it was a typo

Yeah thanks Eric, it doesn't matter if I'm not guaranteed a place on the grid.
I've read the new rules also, all seems good to me. ;)

Nope a few weeks ago i did that. Compared whit ProPersian i lost alot of time in the last sector. and even in the second sector. So in all practise races i couldn't get in the slipstream on straight. So i changed my setup completely. Now i could throw my car in the last sector. But it slides alot & tyres degraded very fast. after 6 laps they were done. Softs 2/3 laps. I changed back to my old setup and try to get it better.

A perfect lap now whit my current setup would be a 35.7. Usual 36.0. but i am going for consistency becaus i don't have the speed compared to some of you guys. Even on worn out tyres i can be fast now. it didn't go well last race, i hope it was becaus of the online bug but i will try to get some practise saturday and change things slightly. I hoping for some solid points in the the middle of the pack.

Same here Maxi I think me, you and Erik are thinking the same and our setups are similar , I expect the 3 of us to be fighting over 4th place

and yes pro persian is extremely quick in that 3rd sector , must be the torque in the lexus, i just cant seem to match him there

I've only completed my P1 practice session which is only a speed test & setup test. I'm running in the low 1'36''s myself, but I have no data on tire wear until my P2 session is completed late tonight. I'm sure I will be around 10-12 laps max!

It's good to here we are all running around the same times, but I still feel its very important to get that final turn just right so you don't lose the draft pack. If that happens your a seating duck in the water!

Oh so your driving JoeTruckV8, I thought you signed off with your post further up. Good to see I misunderstood ;)

I guess this is the list then:

Signup for round 1 (Fuji -38 laps)

Arkano6
Maxitsu
anastasis14
SkengDigi
zzxxz
elysiriar
JoeTruckV8
Netherdragon

Also Joey975 have been putting in some hours of practice so I guess he should sign up also ;)

EDIT:
OP updated

Joey added to the list of drivers, zzxxz changed car into Lexus PETRONAS so the Lexus team is no longer a mixed team.

So I heard IMMORTALPILOT is quitting GT5 and starting with rFactor2, I would like a confirmation on that if it's possible. If it's the case I wish you all the best in rFactor and I know you going to be good at that also.

After changing to the petronas I think I realised something. Maybe the dunlop tyres under the denso are worse than the bridgestones of the petronas. If this is the case, that's an insane amount of realism.
Oh and Eric; my dad broke his hand this week so can he borrow your disabled parking badge?

Thats bad. I was wondering why he didn't sign-up, he is usually one of the first to do it. But it makes the championship more open i think.

I really want to race now, the wait has been long :odd:
