If PD decided to hire a new celebrity voice to guide you through GT6..

Actually Rowan Atkinson (as himself) wouldn't be such a bad idea, he's a huge petrolhead with great knowledge and he's got a pleasing soft spoken voice.
He also seems to have a sense of humor.

He also used to race!
And lets look at him on a serious side.

How would he guide you? Just stand there with signs? The Stig doesn't do signs. Admittedly, that would be hilarious. Just having the Stig just stand there while the instructions are posted beside him so his presence is pretty useless.

I am going to repeat myself but I am voting for Chris Monkey Harris...

Who wants to start a petition ?! and send it to Kaz!

He's funny yet very pertinent and a voice that goes so well with engine music ;)

I'd say;

Kimi Raikkonen - for brief racing tips
Patrick Stewart - for narration on general things, cars, tracks and history etc

Michael Schumacher or, I would really like Jeremy Clarkson (but he's with Forza), so either Hammond, James May, Tanner Foust, or Rutledgewood

Would not bother me if there were no celebrity voices, to be honest. The only time voices are actually necessary is for co-driving. Every other time there were voices on GT5 I skipped through it.

You can't take a joke.

Anyway. Kazunori Yamauchi is a the voice for the car description the Japanese version of GT5. Unfortunately he's not easy on the English poor chap, so thats why its only the Japanese version.

I would elect Tiff Nidel as he has taken part in 24hours le mans, F1 boat racing, 24hour Nurburgring, Formula 2, BTCC, DTM & Some Rally Driving & the fact that he's a TV presenter and race commentator. I think he deserves his place as 'The Voice' of Gran Turismo.

Agree with Chris Harris, he's not only very intelligent and knowledgeable but does so in a natural and fitting way to nearly every car he tests. His vocabulary is admirable too.
