On to some old Audi's

You can see competitor brand styling influence Audi throughout the period.

With the 80 Quattro competing with the BMW 5 series and Peugeot 505, it has the reminiscent taillights of the 505 and the overall aggressive look of the 5 series. While the 80 Hatchaback is just a Scirocco straight up.

The Audi 60, to me, looks like it's competing with the Mercedes sedans of the period

Masafumi Eto’s rare DB2 Integra GS-R is one of the truly great USDM-specific builds in Japan. He continues to add to it every year and the car is just in beautiful condition with just the right set of parts. The body remains mostly untouched, except for a front lip and full respray, and understandably so because DB2 Integras are unicorn-like in Japan, being that they were never available for purchase there. I almost think that 2nd gen. Integra fanatics over there look at the DB2 GS-R the same way we look at the Type R here…

In the engine bay of the DB2 is the factory B17A, which was only available from 92-93, which Eto has completely overhauled from the inside-out. It features a billet aftermarket B-series valve cover with full TODA Racing valvetrain underneath. Also note the Kinsler individual throttle bodies, custom tucked radiator set-up with -AN lines, and the coil-over-plug set-up with full Rywire engine harness….

More Mugen vehicles
Dug out a few more Preludes, since I really want a 2nd or 3rd-gen at the moment.

Ugh, that 348. Wouldn't mind it so much, but remember reading when Speedhunters featured it that the guy had bought it because he didn't like the driving experience of newer Ferraris. Of course, the best way to appreciate the driving experience of older Ferraris is to potter along at 20mph grinding away the frame rails...

That looks a lot like your 240. Same bodykit?

Not really haha though it seems like it, the only thing we have the same is the wing.

I lol'd,

Yea I read it as well. At first I thought he was on some serious coilovers. Then I kept scrolling down and my mind was a bit blown when he mentioned he cut the springs.

No, but it's styled after the OEM kit which is what he has. Looks like a Hot Road kit of I'm not mistaken.

Koguchi only ran a hotroad front bumper on that car. Rest is oem.

The white car I posted has oem kouki skirts, oem kouki bumper and g grow valances.

A hotroad kit has thicker side skirts and valances like this

and a Turbo A vent in the front bumper.

My dad, his brothers, my grandfather, and I visited Deutschland and the Porsche museum in Stuttgart a couple of weeks ago, and obviously I took some photographs while there.

Here's a couple of the ones that I didn't find utterly terrible.

And while in the country we also went to see this small one way stretch of public road that goes nowhere for some reason called Nürburgring Nordschleife.

There was a Walter Röhl exhibition, and Audi being closer to Porsche than Lancia or Opel, probably helped them putting one there instead of some other one of his cars.
