His new DC2 is also really cool.

So many good cars from 20 years ago.
Some great cars around today too, to be fair, but the choice in certain categories has certainly diminished. The lack of small coupes like the Paseo above (or the Ford Puma, Vauxhall Tigra, Nissan 100NX, Megane Coupe, Mazda MX3, Honda CRX, Isuzu Impulse etc) always slightly irritates me, as that's the kind of vehicle I'd be interested in today. The last that got close was probably the Honda CRZ. But compact crossovers (Juke et al) have basically taken over from that market, and while some of those cars are great, they're not the kind of cars I want to spend my money on.

I don't understand why the Paseo isn't a more popular base for modification. AE111 Trueno / Levin looks with Starlet underpinnings. Sounds like a great, cost effective package.

The MkI & MkII Scirocco, along with G60, were my favorites.

In the UK there don't seem to be many left, which could be a part of it. I agree though, it seems like a good blank canvas. That silver one I posted looks great, to me, and all that has are a set of wheels and a bit of a drop. Throw in availability of engine swaps with the cheapness of Starlet bits and you'd think we'd see a few more nice ones.

A Glanza powered one could surprise many, I'm sure. Especially with stock wheels wrapped in sticky rubber, whilst left in those pastel hues they came in.

Looks great other than those LEDs, imo. I've noticed a trend as of late with people throwing on lights that really don't suit the style of the build, and end up ruining the effect that they were going for.

I agree on the point but given the interior modernisation and upgrades to almost the entire car I think this is one case in which LEDs are a perfect choice.

I would like to know why he's running what looks to me like a cheap amazon reversing camera on the front though?

 That NSX, is absolutely gorgeous, heck I would even go as far as to say it's nigh-on perfect as far as mods go.

In love with these Tails

That S2000 is also very damn good . Just one thing, is that personally I'd lose the big rear wing, then it'd be perfect. Otherwise the S2K suits little lip spoilers so well, and that one is no different, forget the name of that one, have seen it before I think.

Other examples that look really neat are the GT Motoring Lip:

Or more of a full duck-tail like the Tamon design:
