Sweet. I've always liked this car, but I really hate what they did to the new one.
Agree. The techno goodies inside it are fabulous, but the design is bloated & even with all the aftermarket parts, it doesn't hide the fact it's still ugly at heart. Performance for the car isn't that much marginally higher in the SH-AWD over mine either to justify moving up to it, which is why I plan on keeping my TL.

That's true funny part is he broke a part that day and ductaped it and then ran the record now he's banned.
Mazdaman, you have got to start using punctuation in your sentences. I haven't written a run-on like that since before I could write! Your posts are often hard to understand because you blend all your ideas into one "sentence", then apparently post it without reading it yourself. I know how New Yorkers sound so I know you're not writing how you speak, so please stop writing nonsense like this.

*The red Autokonexion Miata*

Yeah, it's the Autoconexion coupe hardtop. The hardtop itself looks like crap and on a Miata it just ruins it. Maybe because they tried going for that "race car" look
Nothing compared to how the Spoon one looks on an s2000...

Why put the exhaust in the center when there is a hole on the right?

Agreed, it is questionable.

Those tires are skinny. They can't be more than 185 width.
There isn't enough space under a Miata to have a regular looking muffler, and have it come out under the hole like it needs to. The only option is to have a 90 degree bend, some kind of muffler, and then another 90 degree to the hole.

A center exit simply involves trimming the bumper, and, if done right and using that cutout on the right for a rear fog light for example, it looks really good.

Not to mention works better.

Less bends = more flow = more power. Of course, only works easily if you have no pesky spare tire well or fuel tank in the way, as in most cars.

I had a friend that ran two resonators with no cat in the midpipe, then did a straight pipe right out the center of the bumper. Was still a bit loud, but didn't sound half bad.

Edit: Flyin' Miata open house next week, so I should have some Miata pron for everyone.

This is a car that doesn't look ridiculous with flares, a big wing, and fat tires, unlike that RSX.

I like the RSX too, the Miata on the other hand not so much. The wing on the Miata does look ridiculous, not to mention the ugly paint scheme.

I'm thinking maybe I should go for fitment like that on my car? Iono. I don't know how it drives but it looks sick.
