I really need to pick up another Integra project... Got to deal with that stupid 240SX project first, then find more space in order to do so.

Would have helped a great lot if I didn't buy one with a bent chassis and then stuffed an RB25 in there. I'm sure.

Oh man...

I was at the All Japanese Car day at Lakeside and the car was on display there.

Ah nice.👍 I almost thought about going to that event, but decided against it since it's pretty far to travel for me.

In case you didn't see the Craigslist ad, the seller stated that the body kit was actually a replica of the Amuse kit.

The gauges are actually Veilside gauges. They're pretty expensive pieces.

Didn't see the add... hence my question. :) And imo those gauges on the Veilside are ugly... that font style just doesnt do it for me even if they are expensive or not...

They did one closer to brisbane that i went to earlier in the year. I think it's an annual thing. That lakeside one would have definitely been worth whatever trip you would've had to make. Be sure you keep an ear out next year! :)

Get it badged, this is stupid.

Indeed Sir..! But my OEM badge grill had stupid fitment so I just threw the badgeless on before a show.. I'm getting a new Golf grill next spring if I don't change it up for a Vento front.. :) Badged of course.

And I'm probably getting a new car now, so the Mk3 will be put on the back burner for a while :)

I went to a classic car day at Lakeside, and that was awesome. I've also recently been to a few events at QLD Raceway, since that's a really short trip for me to make. It's not worth much to me at all if there isn't actual circuit racing to watch. Drag racing is boring (and usually results in molested cars, I almost hate dedicated drag cars) and looking at show cars gets old really fast (especially since show cars at nearly always rice anyway)- but since I've signed up for the QLD Raceway Newsletter not long ago I gets a heads up for all upcoming QR and Lakeside events, it's awesome.:D

Vento front is cool in my book 👍

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^^^^^^^ PLease PLease !!! I want... That F40 is just plain SICK!

The purist in me so wants to disapprove of the above F40 but it's too full of win.

I could live without the smoked front and rear lights though.

I thought the double decker wing was a bit overkill. BTW, is this thread supposed to just be about Japanese cars? Because otherwise I could start posting American muscle in here since they are technically imports to me.:P  (Don't worry though, I won't).

23 years after its launch and the F40 continues to put all other supercars on this planet to shame incase of design, looks and overall impression. I agree with Clarkson: It is the best supercar ever made.

F40 is my favourite too, in terms of design, would love one with a hollinger six speed sequential box like in the v8supercars.

I thought the standard body was CF, I seem to remember one reviewer taking about how thin the paint was and being able to see the CF weave through it, all to save weight.

It's a carbon-kevlar weave and if the underside of the boot and bonnet shells are anything to go by, its certainly not as uniform as the weave on the exterior of this one is. It leads me to think that this ones a wrap, which is a bit wanky on a car like this.

I believe its a wrap too.... If you look at the close up pics of the wing you can barely make out the original red paint in the screw holes... Take a look... :) Check the hole all the way to the left... Remnants of red there....

It's wrap... and IMO, it's horrendously tacky.

Would have been a bit less offensive if they had left the lights alone and not stuck that hiddeous rear wing on it.

Wasn't the F40 made from carbon fibre anyway or am I way off?

If it was, then I can't see the point of giving it a wrap when you could just remove the paint and laquer it as it is...
