Dat ass...

Some shots of a few of my DSM's past and present. Through various stages of their builds.
I get what your saying. I don't respect guys that pay to have everything done either. But I've budget built for years. Now that I had the extra cash to build something that I always wanted to build people automatically think that I'm not a greasy gear-head. I'm the type of guy that would rather build my own cars. Even if it winds up costing me just as much as it would have to just buy something "fast" from a dealership. After owning several extremely high powered street and drag cars I've been poiled. I would never be able to afford the type of car that would perform at the level I would need it to to keep me satisfied.
I would want something like the Hennessy Exige that sports a twin turbo SBC to the tune of 1,200bhp,capable of 1,400. It's a 9.90 sec 1/4 mile car.0-60mph in under 3 seconds. But it's also $900,000. Sorry for the super long post. I just hate when people think I pay people to build my rides. Only people that I enlist for some help is a couple of friends that are chassis builders and another buddy that tunes my EMS. Other than that I do it all myself.

This didn't take to long, the Countyman is already being dropped.

24mm rear/32mm front. All it needs is some bigger wheels and it would be killing it. These things are going to look awesome when dropped.

It's been lowered a couple inches, that's all.

Now, when they actually slam and stance these things they'll start looking cool.

So do a lot of the cars posted in this thread.

And I like this...a lot.

I was talking about the height. He said it was lowered...

You should have seen that guy with the Mini's Fit before he totaled it :/

Rue: I think that thread should be called the "Hardcore Porsche" thread, page was full of Porsches!!!

I've been told this is a factory Honda colour, anyone got any idea if that's true? I have seen it on a few Hondas so if someone can confirm that and even give me a name for it, I'd be hugely grateful :)

That's Australia actually. Stanceworks teamed up with a group down there, the Lowly Gentlemen.

Interesting to see a K20 mounted longitudinally, but seriously... (as anyone would have asked) why? I know its for uniqueness and all, but I wonder how a setup like a K20 turbo is used for drifting... :odd:

Probably a stupid question - anyone got a name for those wheels other than stockie/steelies?

That particular style is actually epic. Name? Brand?

Diamond Racing were quite popular with the HellaFlush crowd. Not sure what other brands are out there... (most probably just widened standard steel wheels I guess)
