:odd: Space saving spares?

That guy must be having a really bad day if he catches two flats!

Some of the ugliest wheels ever put on a car. They don't fit well on anything, they're way to flat and shiny, they're laughably heavy for their size, though I will concede that they're extremely strong as I have proven. People that think Si wheels look good get a laugh from me. They're useful as winter wheels, that's about it.

Less talk, more epic picture of Matt Powers' LS7 S14.
LS WHAT?

The wheels look good but they need more offset.

Also there should be more like this. Used and abused.

Not looking used and abused does not mean its not give proper use, as I'm sure it is. I would use a car properly and have fun with it but it does not mean that I wont take care of it.

Hahaha!

Painted steelies look good but they need more tire than that. Or any tire at all would be better than that really.
Don't think it'll fit with that stance, or he'll end up using spacers and camber, but that would look stupid with these steelies.. Rocking 'm nankangs :sly:

Functional, not functional? I don't care. Cool. As. Hell.

Is this the same car? Those headlight lids ruin the whole car:tdown:đź‘Žđź‘Žđź‘Žđź‘Ž But for the rest, looks stunning!

Not the same car, first one is in Japan, the one you posted is a guy in Virginia.

Also, Matt Power's car at this point:

Haha my bad, was refering to the quote I included. Then edited my post to insert a random S15.

Edit: Do you know so much people with bad ass cars or do you read like everything?

He lives in Virginia and has met a few of the locals. As for Matt Powers, he's one of those "celebrities" that everybody has heard of and he gets talked about a lot.

Reminds me of drifting against a Midget in GT5 online yesterday :dopey:

Carlos, Go to speedhunters.com, they have quite a bit of stuff from him there since he is on team NFS, which is partly why he is famous. Speedhunters.com is pretty known and yeah he would probably still be sort of famous but I at least would not know him if it werent for speedhunters.com

As far as I know he originally got attention for his car, which he happened to drift, which he happened to be decent at, and then he happened to be offered a professional gig.

And then he sucked hard last year. And came back this year with a 90% reworked car, and is so far, after one round, kicking ass some more. The green/purple iteration of the car was great looking, but this one performs much better.

Can't have it all. Function > Form.

That's rather tasty. I'm sure I've seen it in a magazine feature before actually, but it looks like it's undergone quite a few changes since then too. Love the subtle retro look, though as RS1600Turbo says it's odd seeing one without the turn signals (or at least, in the usual place - as they appear to have migrated to the bumper and turned into tiny circular units).

+1 đź‘Ť

Not too keen on the alternative rear lights and front indicators, the ride height is also a touch too low for me, but apart from that it's spot on. Interior is awesome.

*edit*

Does anyone offer a fixed headlight conversion in the style of the Lotus Elan 26R for the NA Miata?

I have a feeling it would really suit it.

I suspect it's possible, though having viewed the NA's headlights from straight ahead when they're down, there's not a big aperture through which light could shine if it were given fixed headlights. The units are at a much shallower angle than the pop-ups on an Elan, they aren't far off horizontal.

I'd actually be interested to see whether you could get any useable light by converting the turn signals into proper headlights. Again, probably not, but that might look quite cool too.
