Just a tad low for my tastes, but it's not bad.

Edit: All the Stance 🤬 on the last page is getting out of hand. God that's awful. :yuck:

I don't know. I like a machine to perform, so form should follow function, but a lot of times I'm finding my eyes sway me, and well, Rusty Slammington looked bat**** insane, and I really liked that, regardless of any sort of practicality and performance issues it would have. I don't mind letting go and letting myself enjoy something as crazy as that. Sure as hell would never want one myself.

You don't generally watch a Kung Fu movie for the plot...

Because I know someone is going to be furious over this picture

It's alright...but it's not. The flat-faced wheels and lame fitment make it look like a lowered car on stock wheels, which is never a good thing. Pretty boring in my book.

Most older subies look better on stock wheels. There was a 2.5 RS coupe at my work the other day on stock 04-07 STi BBS wheels and it looked great. 👍

Yeah I'll pass on that one.

I saw a late 90's Subaru Impreza Outback at the drift event a couple weeks ago that had stock Scion tC wheels on it. Looked great.

I first thought Keef was nuts, but after seeing that Impreza on those aftermarket wheels (what are they?) I know he's right!

edit: that thing is SICK dude!

I've been getting a lot of flack from a couple members lately for wanting "stock" wheels on my car...wheels from an R32 GT-R. They're actually quite popular in Japan on FCs. They're relatively big (16x8 as opposed to my stock 15x6) and lower offset (+30 instead of +40). They fit great on the front and can on the rear with a small spacer. I like the look and color, and of course the fact that they're from an R32 GT-R which is pretty baller. They'd be nice wheels to put some basic summer tires on to cruise with, and then have the RPF1s for performance driving and the stockers for winter.

R33 wheels > R32 wheels. 17x9 +30

Besides the fact that they're terribly ugly, I would have to run a spacer up front because that would hit my coilovers. Now that you mention it, everything R33-related is super ugly. For daily wheels I'd rather have a more old-school fitment. The Red Suns car had a weak offset bro.

This is pretty cool though:

That wagon looks stock. Just save up. Anyone can do that.

Of course anyone can do that, but it's the first time I've seen tC wheels on an older Subaru. Again, it's the simple things that people come up with that I admire the most. Who says you need thousands of dollars to make a car look good? Certainly if you think so, you're missing the point of car modification.
