@ speed junkie: what vehicle was shown in your last two photos? Also, what wheels was the old 3-series sitting on?

Those XXR wheels on the Miata are horrible, and even more so in real life. The spokes stick out past the face of the wheels and it's just so ugly.

Love that 914. Don't care what supposed Porschephiles say, it's a proper Porsche and they can look stunning. Interior on that one is possibly even more perfect than the exterior and engine bay.

The teal Miata is right up my alley too. Really dig that look.

Re: The FTO's engine, I'm glad they went for the V6 rather than the Evo lump. Gives the car a bit of character and certainly sounds better. Definite case of performance not being everything.

I agree! That blue F40 is downright sexy as well.

That blue is verging on chrome, it's not just the pictures making it so shiny.

Als O I would do unspeakable things for a FTO GP Version R

Regarding the FTO engine. I agree that the V6 definitely sounds nice but I really like the sound of the 4G93 as well. And I have never been a big fan of a the whole V6 FWD car idea even though the FTO supposedly handles decently. But how cool would it have been if they came with the 4G63 and AWD?

Also, fixed a couple photos on my last post.

Far less cool. What you'd have there is called an Eclipse.

New DD/restomod project. I've already sourced pretty much all the parts it's missing; just have to save a few more dollars for paint. You can't tell so much from this picture, but the car's paint is in absolutely awful condition. I'm thinking it'll look good with a few coats of white and some 15" Enkei 92s in gold.

It began life as an '87 automatic; previous owner swapped in the '89 4AGE + 5-speed. Fun little car. 👍

Yeah except it is hundreds of pounds lighter, smaller, and much better looking than an Eclipse. In fact, the Eclipse should never have come to be and rather they just have sold AWD, turbo 4G63-powered FTOs. Too bad Mitsubishi was never really good at anything outside of the WRC.

Nice 👍 Paint might be in poor nick but at least it isn't rotting everywhere like most of them in the UK!

Oh it most definitely is... How else would you keep 2,500 horsepower under control?

EDIT: Ninja'd

You're right, we need more $3000 sets of weak fitment and street rod show tires.
